Olsen: “When did the Constitution become negotiable?”

What does Charlie Sheen and “Winning” have to do with Canadians wanting more hockey? Read on my friends…..Dos Equis or not!

Gotta love it, eh?

Canada, you are getting a taste now why hockey in Glendale has always been a political battle. And my theory is that there are investors in Abu Dhabi that have become a nightmare for the City of Glendale. Attached to them are the names that put the investors in touch, so to speak, with “the deal”, and they are all hoping the big penalty doesn’t come in to play. And no, it’s not even close to a game misconduct, far worse in fact. The game misconduct is in not providing the game of usury debt streams.

If it were not a political battle then, as argued before, this case would have been over a long time ago.

My daughter likes to blurt regularly, “Get over yourself”, whenever someone seems a little self righteous. And when I hear people tell us they have “told us” something many times before I agree with her. That’s what will make this situation and the far out angle we have taken come home to roost. So, excuse me for rubbing it in here shortly.

If indeed this was a pure battle of what makes the most economic hockey sense from a pure profit angle, Jim Balsillie would be putting the finishing touches on the new state of the art arena. The only issue would probably have been what to name the arena. Do we change it from Copps to RIM, or something else? What a dilemma that would be. The problem du jour would be a whole lot different than where we are today. Canadians you could simply keep focused on what you always wanted to focus on coming to makeiteighteh.com – - talk on the Coyotes and giving you the trash on the corruption. You could come looking for any dirt that would suggest Hamilton, or Winnipeg, or Quebec might get hockey back.

And worst of all, you might still be thinking if we don’t piss off Gary Bettman, we may actually get him to see Canada as a deserving place to put more hockey. Be good fellow Canucks, Gary seems to be happy about Canada today! Don’t rock the boat. Phewie! Wake up! It’s time to tip the boat over because it has a leak caused by years of corruption. The same corruption that has taken over the U.S. government and is trashing that Constitution!

When Gary Bettman asked who the Goldwater Institute answers to, he might as well have said, “Didn’t they get the memo on the new economy?” Who do they answer to indeed! Wow! Some entity not in on the taxpayer wealth stripping party! Absurd!

I am going to insert a very loaded interview between Brahm Resnik who is a broadcaster in Phoenix, but first and foremost a Canadian. He is interviewing Darcy Olsen of the Goldwater Institute that has the Constitution of the United States of America on her side. And, in a country where the current White House Administration views the Constitution as a thorn in the side of the real agenda, she is a refreshing change of pace from Corruption Incorporated. You know Brahm as the man with the twitter account who, like a gracious Canadian, answers everybody!

He even answered a good friend of mine that wrote an article for this site way back when that showed some detail about the Jobing.com bond issue – - a bubble within a bubble. Eloquently put I would say. Unfortunately Resnik  at the outset commented to him that there didn’t seem to be a point. I wonder if he would care to reread it now and see if that opinion has changed, In fact why don’t you all read it again and see the points made that are suddenly becoming significant. The bubble within a bubble – - the economic sell out of Glendale.

What are the new sky is falling numbers out of Glendale’s City Hall – - $500 million and complete collapse? Why? Really? Forty home dates of hockey is going to impact a City putting in a Casino and can increase concerts? Something is not right. Where’s the real deal Glendale? Who is holding your City hostage? Why is Gary Bettman really bending over backward to spare an embarrassment that will make Jerry Moyes’ pale in comparison?

In this interview, I love the fact that Olsen points out to Resnik that although hockey is important to many, there is the case against pulling the plug on Grandma that they are involved with that is challenging the U.S. Healthcare reform. Sorry Canada, that is a little more important!  Here’s where I insert my own shameless plug, proving I am a hypocrite when I say that I hate self-promotion.

And where did my article end up? Infowars.com and the leader of the battle against the attack on that nasty Constitution.

That’s right, you may have heard of Alex Jones, if at no other time than on the View with Barbara Walters, as she was ready to blow a gasket. You see, Jones wanted to cram in as much stuff on the bad things that have been done to Americans and the Constitution that he took every opportunity to tell us all about “building 7″ in New York on 9/11, the killing of innocent Iraqis during the war on the weapons of mass destruction, and on and on. Whoopie Goldberg looked like she was taking downers for a change, trying to get Jones to slow down. It was a crazy few minutes, but a victory and a way to further the Charlie Sheen cause .

Is it any wonder Sheen is basking in the glory of destroying the New World Order and is as popular as ever for the campaign of “Winning”? The next time you watch Saturday Night Live try to separate the attack from the humor and you will see something far from funny. The system controlled by mainstream media is scared, and they are threatened.

You must excuse Charlie for looking disturbed and overcoming substance abuse. Anyone who has come from that place and is still effective at bringing attention to the issues of the day is brilliant. It is an interesting dilemma – - do you look at Charlie the man and say he is at this time a little off, or do you look at the bigger picture and agenda, and realize he truly is winning? And by winning, again, we mean drawing attention to supporting the Constitution, peoples’ rights, and freedom. Or, did you miss the whole point? He may come across as the madman across the water, but the point is the people across the water want to hear him.

When Whoopie Goldberg said she wanted to figure out what was happening with Charlie, they should have let Alex Jones have an hour to explain that Sheen’s problems happened when he wanted 20 minutes with the President. In fairness, if the system wanted to vilify you, you’d go a little nuts too!

So hockey, right?

Point is, hockey and politics, and the U.S. Constitution is all in focus. The Coyotes in Phoenix and the other NHL teams are all affected by corruption and taxpayer abuse by a sports league that is no different than the rest. John McCain has come forward to support the Coyotes because of political issues. We have seen a lot on this site, and we have shown a glimmer of those over time to you here. We have seen the politics, the ties to land developers, and we have seen the game within the game.

When we realize that the game of hockey has been held hostage to land developers and financiers, we will look at the next bubble within a bubble coming to Edmonton right now, and see it for what it really is. Edmonton is being held hostage by the “convenient excuse” that the taxpayers should own the arena, just like in Glendale. The real reason is because the taxes are guaranteed to those behind the financing, and they can score many times the value of the arena in interest payments over time.

Glendale saying that their economy will collapse makes no sense to anyone on the surface. It’s what you cannot see that is the issue. Will we let it become the issue in Edmonton too? Are they the replacement cash cow?

Will we, as Canadians think we are living in a protective bubble, where Stephen Harper is not part of the Club? We have looked at him too here on this site.

It’s time to realize hockey is politically driven. It’s time to join the party and start winning too.

When Resnik asked Olsen if Canadians were making contributions to the Goldwater Institute’s battle against the case for keeping the team in Glendale, it made me laugh.

It made Olsen laugh too.

As an issue for a Canadian like Resnik who really knows better because of his political analysis agenda, it shows that there has always been a more important mission. It has been a mission of human rights and freedoms. It’s all about a bigger issue of righteousness! It’s about people having rights. Like Jerry Moyes! Remember him? The man served proxies instead of compassion?

When are we going to understand there are bigger issues than hockey? And you can’t just throw money at that! In short, any Canadians who think throwing money at the Goldwater Institute will motivate them more to take on the NHL had better “get over themselves”!

It’s about WINNING!…. DUH! Winning the big picture not the little hockey picture!

While Darcy Olsen does it the politically correct way,  Charlie Sheen lets it all hang out – -  what’s the difference?  He is in essence saying the heck with all things politically correct because politics is corrupt people!  They built him up and gave him power and now he is turning the machine against themselves- – a stroke of brilliance!

Who does he need to answer to? Nobody! Who does Goldwater need to answer to — normal everyday people fed up with the system of taxpayer abuse. So, Mr. Bettman, I hope that clarifies things a little bit. After all, you did want to know who Goldwater is accountable to.

It’s all about loving the preserving of human rights! It’s about upholding the Constitution that represents those rights. And in Canada, we need to pay careful attention too.

A man’s actions define him. Sheen is overcoming all odds to show just how intelligent he is. Playing the nutbar to bring attention to himself to further the bigger issues.

If Lindsay Lohan’s drinking can bring her fame and attention, Sheen is getting more than 20 minutes with the world. Why bother trying to influence the President when you are more popular than Obama? Refreshing and fresh! Free and carefree! Liberated and fanciful!

So thank you Charlie Sheen for taking your popularity to a meaningful level, despite what they are trying to do to you! Oh, and Darcy and the Goldwater Institute: Many thanks as well. When Darcy says, “when has the Constitution been negotiable?”, I suppose she is saying it shouldn’t be in hockey, and it should not be abused by a dictatorship style either, when she refers to the healthcare reform in America. The little engine that could in a pile of corruption and bullying. Nice try Brahm! Nobody it would seem is going to derail this little choo choo. Whoohoo!

And with Charlie Sheen’s popularity hitting an all-time high, there is something about him that attracts people. Perhaps it is the underlying truth! Maybe he should have this to say, being “the most popular man in the world”,

” Stay thirsty for the truth my friends!”

Rumsfeld on War: They were wrong on Iraq

Do ya think, Don?

Donald Rumsfeld wrote a book. They all do, don’t they?

He said they were wrong on the intelligence that drove them into Iraq to find the weapons of mass destruction. According to CNN that cost 4500 troops their lives. And, wasn’t it 100,000 plus innocent Iraqi citizens that died?

I remember the “intel”, as we reported that it was applied rather thick. Rumsfeld seemed too confident then, to be so willy nilly, and wishy-washy now on the subject.

Let’s bring you back, to the elaborate caves that Rumsfeld said were  in Afghanistan where Bin Laden was hiding. Did they find these? No, they were a fictoid. But Rumsfeld jumped right in to justify not one, but many. Able to avoid radar; big enough to run tanks through; with electricity, ventilation systems, computers, etc. Where was this intel obtained that sounded so convincing?

Let’s not forget the  need for bunker busting bombs, according to George Bush Jr.

Sure, really George?

On 9/11, wasn’t your dad dining with some of the Bin Laden family for breakfast, or lunch? I can imagine the dinner conversation – “Oh sorry, just to go off topic, we are looking for your son, do you mind telling us where the most wanted is right now – we need to pick him up”. Right.

Read more, click here

Maybe Anwar Al -Awlaki now occupies these mystery caves. Sure fits the M.O. doesn’t he? Got the Pentagon dinner one night, on the most wanted list soon after. Hint to those in the Middle East: Don’t take dinner invitations – you are really paying for it.

I can imagine that dinner conversation: “Anwar, we are looking for a new patsy. So, here is what we’ll do. You’re it! Okay? That’s as good as it gets. We will make it worth your while – we will never catch you. Set you up in new digs, the whole nine yards, what do you say Anwar?”

“The American public? Don’t worry, they buy everything the controlled media tells ‘em, not an issue. If we say the sky is green, they believe it. If we say the cold as heck weather is global warming, for crying out loud, they believe it. If we can pull of that scam, don’t you think we can pull this off too?”

“We got Donny Rumsfeld, guilty as sin writing a book. Because once the book is published, Don feels better, the people feel better, and if it is in a book, gotta be true! Know what  I mean? Heck, we can even show the stupidity of the thing in shows like the Family Guy. People just laugh. But, they still believe it, the chumps!”

The hard-hitting Diane Sawyer (lovely lady) hit Rumsfeld with the tough question. The cat that swallowed the canary look on Rumsfeld’s face tells us everything I think we need to know.

Can we take the “wisdom” of Rumsfeld at least in one way. He said the things we know today are different. Applying that, was 9/11 not what we were told too? We have the evidence today to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt that “doubt” exists.

What drove the military into Iraq, at the root was a lie. It’s time to get to the bottom of it.

Bilderberg’s John Keane & Jessica Mathews: The Waging of Peace

At 84, it seemed odd that Queen Elizabeth II made a special trip to New York to pay respect to the 9/11 victims, and in addressing the  U.N. assembly claimed, “the waging of peace is the hardest form of leadership of all.” We don’t usually hear the term, “waging of” followed by anything other than “war”. So, in this case, it was indeed an odd twist.

But, the comment is actually in keeping with the intent of the globalist leaders that, according to Queen Elizabeth II, must wage peace  to address the issues of “terrorism” and “climate change”. The Bilderberg Group must have been comforted to get the support of the Queen of England. And, it would seem, the Bilderberg influence has shaped U.S. military efforts over the past while as well. The “waging of peace” has support by those responsible to sell the concept to the American people and the world.

We could look at the “waging of peace” as the military strategy for Iraq. The trickle in strategy of U.S. troops would suggest a war of occupation not with intent of “victory”.

The Bilderbergers, looking for world domination,  would have no reason to win and leave the Middle East – not if they were intending on controlling the world. They would need to spin the occupation as a war of peace; the selling feature would have to be to sell the need to  build the democratic infrastructure of government, and eventually do the same for Afghanistan.  In 2007 and beyond, The Bilderberg Group would need a marketing plan to sell the occupation war. They would require a team of marketers with credibility, stature and title.

They had their team – Retired General John (Jack) Keane and Jessica T. Mathews, President of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Both long-term Bilderberg attendees – especially at critical times leading in to 2007. Both attending the 2006 Bilderberg meeting in Ottawa, and the 2007 meeting in Turkey. And yes, of course they were attendees in Spain this year.

In January 2007, John Keane and Fred Kagan (no relation to Elena Kagan) wrote “Choosing Victory: A Plan for Success in Iraq” which supported the implementation of 30,000 more troops into Iraq, because , “Kagan emphasized that it was critical to reduce the levels of violence before attempting any political solution”. The trickle in strategy was underway, and the strategy to occupy was being sold to the U.S. citizens.

2008 was the election year in the U.S., and with November fast approaching, Obama was poised to suggest a troop withdrawal as a selling feature of his candidacy. As we all know, whether a Democrat or Republican, the voters of America were getting a Bilderberg rep, whose job it would be to continue the agenda of world domination, occupation and control.

In June 2008, an article came out by the Independent in the UK entitled, “Revealed: Secret plan to keep Iraq under U.S. control”. Secret or not, it would affect Obama’s promise to the people who promised the troops could start to withdraw. Bilderberg had their way again.

In the video below, Jessica Mathews, in the Iraq Debate in 2007, sells the war to suggest it necessary as a means of peace – a ” political ” battle.

According to Mathews, there was only a “political solution”, suggesting there was no sense to  pull out or to push to “win” the war by deploying the number of troops that later would be  proven the argument as well for Afghanistan.

Recently, General McChrystal sought  the means to “win” by a surgence of troops (80,000).  Obama, the puppet of the Bilderbergers had to counter-argue and replaced McChrystal with Petraeus, citing, among other things that they had to make ” …. sure we’re doing a good job in building capacity on the civilian side.”

McChrystal, frustrated with the lack of military force  in Afghanistan, was critical of  Richard C. Holbrooke, a Bilderberger on the inside, holding title of Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan. Did he realize the Bilderberg Group never intended on leaving the region or winning?  And, wasn’t it fitting that John Keane’s good friend taking over the Afghan mission, Gen. Petraeus, said he is in it to win it. Good luck general!

In the Iraq War debate in Senate, Republican  John Warner,” one of the Republican Party’s most respected voices on military affairs” could not hold his disgust, as can be seen in this video:

David Frost, looking much older than in his historic interviews with President Nixon during the Watergate Scandal, allowed John Keane to summarize for us the sales points of the wars that were sold as political structure building in countries far removed from the United States. Ironic, isn’t it, that the Bilderberg Group is currently destroying the free world, and Keane explains how America is “freeing” the Middle East?

Are we to believe that the enemies were CIA groomed operatives by the names of Bin Laden and Hussein? Or would the Bilderberg Group have used the “boogie men” to create the reason to occupy the Middle East, to surround Iran, and effect their plan for world government and world domination? And as importantly, were Bilderberg members Jessica Mathews and  John Keane the sales agents to sell the continuation of the wars in the region?

First comes Sachs (love), then comes Mubadala (marriage), then comes the United Nations (that would be the baby in the baby carriage)

The debt that will not allow us to part!

For better or worse, this baby seems to be Glendale's

Bear with me for a moment, won’t you?

These are strange days indeed aren’t they? And our Phoenix Coyotes hockey drama is no exception.

As you know, we have been following the Coyotes case for several months, and we have been bombarded with evidence of “special interests” that have come around to see what’s being said, by who and why.

There have been visits to this site over time from some very key players in my opinion (no not hockey players) that have helped paint an albeit circumstantial but thought-provoking case to suggest there is a story to tell of who is pulling the strings in the battle of this NHL franchise.

So, again, please bear with me on this one a bit longer. Something has occurred to me based on recent and past activity that might shed some interesting light on the circumstances and reason we are still talking about Glendale and their ability to hold onto this team.

This case we have argued has transcended sport and has touched on the political realm in many ways.

If you are still here despite my apparent losing it, you might fall into one of three categories – one that just picks out the hockey stories. Or, you might have been intrigued by the Global world issues and how it may tie in with sports. Or, you may be interested in  a combination of the two; that either came originally for the hockey discussion, or later when we got into the globalist issues, and  perhaps you decided both had relative merit. Whatever the reason, thank you for being with us.

I may be able to bring more closure to the many questions that remain. Could it be that world powers that have investment in the United States and it’s municipalities are truly running the show? Let’s see what’s old and what’s new.

Jim Balsillie and his team were baffled when  the City of Glendale didn’t take his $50 million offer seriously in court, an offer that would have covered off approximately four years of bond obligations on the arena lease. The Balsillie legal team was  also leaning their case in the direction of pinning hope on the Goldwater case against concessions, and also there was a tremendous emphasis on the Toronto Maple Leafs apparent (no make that “obvious”) veto rights. The NHL Constitution was on the forefront, but there was something very strange by the way Judge Redfield T. Baum disregarded the Veto issue. Could he have been tipped off that it was not going to be a factor? With so much reflection and thought, Baum made an abrupt ruling that I would assume he was not too proud of. I am sure given the circumstances, he would have preferred to send a clear message that the creditors should come first in bankruptcy court, but it would appear there was influences that he was not necessarily in control of. His ruling left us hanging and feeling let down. It just didn’t seem in keeping with his character and his credentials. Politics may have played a role. I believe Baum himself felt disappointed by the direction he had to proceed in. Justice was surely not served to the man who was set up by the colluding parties in this case. The bankruptcy trustee,  Lashinsky came with a bark, but left with no bite.

For Glendale, we must remember that hockey was a means to an end – a way of attracting residents, business, and tax dollars, and it was part of the bigger infrastructure aspirations of the Glendale City Hall. They made the decision, as did Phoenix to go for broke in the method of financing when they took on the very iffy demand for hockey, that did not match the very concrete lease and bond obligations. It would appear by their desperation, they were not being let off the hook by whoever controlled the bonds for the arena. One comment that stands out in memory from the court case, was Glendale’s urgency that if they lost the Coyotes, the would have to replace the loss with another hockey team. There did not seem to be an option.

While Jerry Moyes gave free advice that made sense, which emphasized that concert venues would be more lucrative, he was backed up by the same advice from the experts at Beacon Sports – bring in more concerts in a year. Seemed obvious, no? Obvious to everyone except Glendale. Or maybe it was obvious, just not allowed! Remember the comment that they would have to replace the lost Coyotes with another hockey team. Oh yeah, says who?

We had Michael Dell investing in land and land deals in Glendale and Phoenix, and famous of these was CityNorth, which was challenged in court for violation of Gift Laws. He shared that space with Related Companies, and in the mix was Mubadala. Mubadala and Dell are no strangers in other areas, with Mubadala suppliers of the AMD chip for Dell Computer, and we can go on from there.

The relationships seemed to intertwine in this case, which shares that space with the Glenn Beck show’s direction these days. Not to say I trust Glenn Beck, but what truth he brings, albeit contrived and in a questionable manner, it remains the truth. His recent tying in of all kinds of lo and behold friends in Crime Inc. reminds me of this hockey story.

So here we are. The NHL has apparently come to terms with Glendale City Hall on keeping the Coyotes in Glendale for one more year, as the City has guaranteed $25 million in losses.

That would not be as big a deal under other circumstances, but it is the timing that is suspect in this case.

Here’s what I am getting at.

Within the last couple of days, I reported on Goldman Sachs visiting the site, checking out Ice Edge. Sachs is implicated in several global issues of corruption and is also implicated in the derivative scandals in Europe. Their reputation – not so good.

Then, we had Mubadala come back to our site, they too interested in Ice Edge. Mubadala, having interest in Phoenix (CityNorth) was suspected by past visits to be a strong candidate to be bond holders for the Jobing.com arena. And equally important, the nature of Mubadala investment is “secretive”, where they do not want to be known as investing anywhere. That is just their nature. Bear this in mind.

Then, we had the “mystery bidders” that have come on the scene that do not want to be disclosed. Coincidence? Could it be our friends Mubadala that all of a sudden have come to the rescue of their investment? Could they have pressured the City of Glendale to ensure that a “hockey team” occupies that arena? Would it explain much?

And if Mubadala was an international influence to the United States, would any court action be dampened by controlling powers within government to ensure they are kept happy?

What of the past visits by Mubadala checking out Ice Edge? Was Ice Edge put in place to be a potential solution?

As Daryl Jones pointed out it was a “business decision” to come to the rescue of the Coyotes. And, Keith McCullough thought that nobody in Phoenix wanted to go to a game anyways, so what was the attraction to the Coyotes? Where exactly was the “business reason for Ice Edge? Could they have been, as suspected, either a diversion or a prop put into place by the powers that be? After all, lots of government past relationships with this group, wouldn’t you say? Possible at the very least.

And now, the coup de gras, the icing on the cake.

We have said for a while that visits to the site could be a coincidence. That is always possible. It is always possible. The question remains, under the circumstances, are they all just coincidences?

Could this visit by the United Nations beaming to the category of Mubadala also be a fluke?

I suppose we should all make sure they stay happy now!  Would they be the bankers that Gary Bettman alluded to in his interview with Ron McLean that seemed a lifetime ago?

We had asked the question with bad grammer, Who is them?

Perhaps Gary was right all along – don’t get your hopes up Canada. There is more to this than meets the eye. It’s damage control and not personal. The NHL dirty laundry was just the casualty of dashed hopes when a country sells itself out, and anything remotely fair becomes far from  possible. For that,  I can see whyBettman would have wished this  never happened.

It was perhaps the most relative 20 minutes from finding a new owner sports will ever know.

The World Trade Center discussion you do not want to miss: Ron Avery

It was like flying into a cheese grater

Don’t miss this updated article (May 2, 2011)  at this link (Osama is dead!: Mainstream media pulls out all the stops!)

Imagine a fly hitting a fly swatter and forcing the fly swatter to disintegrate! That is what they would want you to believe in the claim that the buildings came down from fire weakening the steel.

Ron Avery joins Alex Jones in this discussion.

Why do we keep bringing this up? Because 9/11 is the smoking gun that brought in the Patriot Act designed to strip rights away from Americans.

Ron Avery, when questioned on his belief the government of the U.S. could be responsible for the attack on the World Trade Centers on 9/11 gives this explanation – It is not the FBI or everyone in government, but there is a military operating within the U.S. that is run by a few that are  corrupt. So it’s not the  government as a whole that was in on this, but a small group within the government.

Avery: I don’t believe the FBI had anything to do with it

Avery: I believe we have a foreign military operating within this country. We need to discover these people and get them out of here.

Jones: And I would guess you are talking about Israeli involvement

Avery: I sure am

So if the sticking point holding you back from having an open mind is that it requires an “all or nothing” belief that the entire government is responsible and that is ridiculous, please note that most believe only a few key people were in control of the events of that horrific day.

This means that most people are good, and could not fathom the idea of some being this evil. It also means that the military of the U.S. would have had no knowledge that the leaders in control were behind this, but it is fair to say there are many questions that demand answers.

Please do not miss this interview in its entirety (please!):

Of course they are!

More evidence of the monopolization of sport (and everything else!)

The big boys just keep getting bigger.

It’s all about power and control…. to tax the air we

breath ;control the food we eat, the  medicine we use; and censor the news we hear….

Sit back, pour a strong cup of joe, and ponder what used to be ridiculous.

I’m talking about conspiracy theories. And believe it or not, the sports leagues don’t seem to be immune – sharing  suspicious space with government and the chosen corporations.

It’s an interesting choice of  words to describe the unthinkable –  a “conspiracy theory”?

Some of you are going to say, oh no, just as we were going so well on hockey talk, here we go again with how this guy thinks it all ties together with conspiracies. Ridiculous right! Right? Funny how things come across my desk.

Looking at the visitors this morning, I had the pleasure of Abu Dhabi’s company today. And not just any company, oh no, it came from the “Crown Prince Court” (where did they go?).

Now, if you are like me, you’d have to say, who? Well, googling brings some interesting facts.

If we can digress a moment, we can go back to 2007, when

President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan

President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has issued a federal decree transferring units from Emirates Media Inc. to the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court.

It’s okay, we don’t need to pay for the whole article, that will do. After all, we can use another article to make sense of this move. Why take on the broadcasting company, Emirates Media, Inc.? We may have our answer here:

The problem for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is that it faces this future with much of its official face turned towards the past. An atmosphere of secrecy prevails, as a number of conservative, anachronistic bodies seek tight control over the flow of information. The result is to thwart efforts towards a wider liberalisation.  For many years the most maligned of these bodies was the federal ministry for information and culture, which effectively controlled all domestic newspaper and television output and the importation of all books and films into the UAE. The ministry was finally disbanded in 2006, but a number of its employees were assigned to a successor institution: the National Media Council (NMC).

Strangely sounding like the control czar in the U.S., Cass Sunstein, who is looking to turn the internet into a state run,

Cass Sunstein: I wish he gave our rights as much consideration as he does other animals!

state controlled spy network where kids will get scholarships to “keep an eye on anything remotely critical” out there in the U.S. citizenry. After all, those nasty citizens are close to terrorists, hence the need to instigate that Patriot Act. It’s actually designed to control patriots, not keep patriotism alive, don’t you know? Okay, sorry, back to the issue here.

But before we return to our welcomed guests, keep in the back of your mind our Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, who was using his entourage to control who in the media was allowed to ask a question. Yes, Mr. Harper called it something else to which I cannot recall – suffice it to say it was far removed from how the journalists saw it. Let’s leave it at that for the moment.

Our “ridiculous” conspiracy theories in general are now suggesting that Cass Sunstein and others want to control opposition in media. So, the Sheik in Abu Dhabi is not alone after all. Small world or what?

Now if we can go back again in time, to 2008, we had this reporting from (gasp) FOX NEWS, who refreshingly questioned George W. Bush:

Why is the president of the United States entertaining Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince, Sheik Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at Camp David when his own State Department has singled out the Sheik’s homeland, the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.), for its continuing violations of human rights?

It gets better, it seems George W. must have taken a shining to the whole process considering (what we already know):

“Citizens did not have the right to change their government. In some cases, security forces reportedly employed flogging as judicially sanctioned punishment. Arbitrary detention and incommunicado detention remained problems…”

“The judiciary lacked full independence. The government restricted civil liberties, including freedoms of speech, press (including the Internet), assembly, association, and religion. There were limited reports of corruption, and the government lacked transparency.”

After all, turn a blind eye or support what you believe is right. Whichever it is, of course there is that whole, rub my back I’ll rub yours aspect to it:

Abu Dhabi is one of seven oil-rich — and anti-Israel states — in the United Arab Emirates. Using its massive sovereign wealth fund of over $875 billion, Abu Dhabi has been gobbling up American assets, buying considerable stakes in U.S. businesses like Citigroup, the Carlyle Group, Advanced Micro Devices, and Toll Brother and is now bidding on the Chrysler Building.

Let’s not forget the whole Global Government or “Governance” thing, that depending on how you say it you are either worldly or a nutjob conspiracy theorist. You see “Governance” is used when “Government” scares people. Just like “Climate Change” was the replacement for “Global Warming” when someone clued in and pointed out temperatures over the past several years have been declining. And, yes, Global Government and Climate Change, if you do not like either one makes you one of us – a nasty dissident conspiracy person. For shame!

Anyhow, this could get long fast, but that’s okay, you made it this far. There are more points I promise, and I must say, I think they are juicy! Well, you can be the ultimate judge.

How does this tie in with hockey?

Well, as we investigated the friends to Glendale that seemed to have a stranglehold on Mr. Moyes, we came across the ever-interesting connections of these companies and countries.

Without beating it to death with a (climate change hockey) stick, the names that kept returning were MSD Capital, Onex, Mubadala, John Buck, Carlyle Group, DRS Technologies, and on and on. If you have read enough here, you have been bombarded with evidence that helped us tie these guys together.

And, the hints have been there without much bacon that there seems to be a move to monopolization of just about everything these days.

The government in the U.S. is just getting bigger. No conspiracy there – not if you watch Glenn Beck who at least gives us “half-truths”. That is, until he tries to break the Americans’ backs with the need to kill the unions and strip pension plans, but other than that the guy is just a peach. Just not the peach you want to bite into, cause it has a rotten core.

Anyhow, we have Stephen Harper, probably knowing full well that Climate Change is as bogus as that hokey hockey stick graph they tried to sell us, yet with him and Obama, it’s business as usual at the G20, and in Davos, Switzerland. According to Harper, we must put sovereignty second to the needs of the globe. Yeah, try telling that to the already suffering in most of the European Union. Go ask Greece, or Iceland how it’s working for them on the derivative bank scandles that are driving them into enslavement.

No, for one, I would prefer to keep our Canada sovereign. Thanks anyways.

That’s why Harper’s sit down fireside chat with Brian Williams seemed a little off – considering.

So the point I will make is this.

There is a global push for monopolization and control of everything – the media, sports, the people, the taxation of our breath – everything. And we are seeing subtle moves in business that if you aren’t paying attention may just pass you by.

That brings us to the sports ties.

We already suspect Abu Dhabi’s involvement with the Jobing.com bonds.

Now, the other friend that came to our site today was Onex Corporation.

Again, what up with Onex?, we asked. Another google search.

Low and behold we see that Onex is on the short list to  buy (please wait for the ad for Dell Computers to go away – seems to take forever!):

Sport Supply Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: RBI) (“Sport Supply Group”), the nation’s leading marketer, manufacturer and distributor of sporting goods and branded team uniforms to the institutional and team sports market, today announced that it has entered into a definitive merger agreement to be acquired by an affiliate of ONCAP Management Partners, L.P. (“ONCAP”), the mid-market private equity business of Onex Corporation (“Onex”).

Recap time.

Onex has had some interesting past players on their team. Daryl Jones (Research/Ice Edge), Eric Rosen (MSD Capital) to name a couple. And again, if you have been a long time reader you will note that Keith McCullough (Research/Ice Edge) was a hedge expert at Carlyle Group. Ah, doesn’t it all make you warm and fuzzy?

So, we have Abu Dhabi and the Crown Prince court treating their people like crap, taking over control of everything. Investing in America and likely sports, and sharing this distinction with what seems to be an ever-growing family of the rich and privileged.

Just one more thing.

It would appear as if by coincidence that Onex is also in the game to take over a media empire that had a past with current Onex boss Gerald Schwartz:

Gerald Schwartz (Onex)

Onex, Canada’s biggest publicly traded buyout firm, and Alberta Investment Management Corp. are partnering with National Post Chief Executive OfficerPaul Godfrey in the bid, the newspaper reported, citing people familiar with the bidding process. The newspaper didn’t name the people.

Now, that nasty “conspiracy side” would immediately jerk me to attention. Onex acquiring sports industry interests, and now going after media. And, second in size to only the Federal Government, eh?

Yes, if I were a conspiracy guy, I might be led to believe there could be another connection here. And, Onex recently was eying the U.S. for commercial real estate opportunities. Of course they were. Perhaps in the Phoenix area too?

The belief that distressed U.S. mortgage assets are priced at a discount, with significant potential upside, has led a number of large investment firms to create real estate investment trusts to buy assets.

Where have we heard about REITs before? Oh that’s right – Alan Leventhal the REIT expert and the owner of Beacon Sports brought in by Reinsdorf junior to “help” Glendale assess the potential of Jobing.com arena.

Excuse us if we see all the past employees of these firms working together still, in a friendly way to share the pot.

After all, the conspiracy theory  chutzpa says it’s all about monopolization, power, censorship, and giving the good deals to your chosen buddies.

As for the rest of us? Just pay tax on your every exhale and be lucky you are still allowed to live. And be grateful Canada isn’t as much of a police state as the U.S. already is. That is, until  Bill C-6 gets through.

Or until the North American Union comes back no doubt, and rears it’s ugly head. A ‘hypothetical region’ my eye!

So the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Onex visited our humble abode just five hours apart  (3 AM and 8 AM).

Of course they did!

Hockey’s political battle: This “howl” would have been over a long time ago without it

So, on friday the Goldwater Group will be back in court to fight the subsidies of the Phoenix Coyotes yet again. Tireless aren’t they?

Goldwater is the republican watchdog group founded by Barry Goldwater, and since then few could argue about the support of Ron Paul, the only republican that can apparently speak politics and common sense at the same time.

Before you challenge the here we go again – off to politics land, let’s look back on the Coyotes battle, recapping some observed facts.

Jim Balsillie waived his money at the NHL some time ago, and for Phoenix… what, 9 months ago? Somewhere around that time, anyhow.

Jerry Moyes knew something was amiss in the NHL the owners were not being treated fairly. We had the vote of 26-0 against Balsillie’s supposed “poor character” by the NHL’s Board of Governors, but later we found comments from the owners (at least one) that it was not about or against Balsillie. Oh really, so why the 26-0 vote?

Goldwater was Balsillie’s only hope in court, because without the “political” battle of the watchdogs against a city that was hanging on to the losing team at all costs, concessions would have been granted 9 months ago, and in the words of a Toronto sports writer, we would have gotten out the salami and cheese, licked our wounds, and like a double play quickly ending the World Series, we would have been left with our mouths hanging open. “That’s it? No more? But, but, but, what about the offer from Balsillie? It was so much more.”

Without the political battle we so direly want as sports fans to avoid, the game would have been short-lived. Yes, Balsillie’s entire case was based on the Goldwater battle against concessions.

Now, we have the Ice Edge boys ready for battle again on Friday this week? And, what’s the issue? Oh yeah, the Goldwater group pit bulls are yet again looking to quell the hope of Glendale to offer concessions. It looks like the disguise is in the parking fees that Ice Edge hopes will yield in the neighbourhood of $15 million per year.

The team’s average attendance, no doubt padded to look better,  like the U.S. economies “  true” unemployment rate, is reportedly sitting at 11,000. I’d say about 6,000 short of okay. And, without researching, can we safely say they are still baking hotdogs and brewing beer, T-shirts, or Miley Cyrus tickets to attract attendance? Is it the same old same old?

Is it the same, “same old” in Tampa, but with the exception of the NHL meeting the payroll à la, oops, didn’t we see that in Phoenix? Yes, the same pattern.

And how are the owners doing in Tampa? Making money with a half empty arena? Are they still hanging in their pretending that their ownership actually matters? Don’t they get it yet. Voting 26-0 against Balsillie and letting a fellow owner like Moyes hang out to dry in an attempt to ask for it not to happen to them is ridiculous.

The owners really don’t get it?

Who will be the next owner to realize it is just their money that the “system” of sports monopoly wants. When will they get it that there is an infrastructure of sports based on politics and foreign investment so entrenched that they are no different than the average American taxpayer that is footing the bill for the banker bailout scam between the foreign controlled U.S. Federal reserve, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan and others.

When will the owners understand why Abu Dhabi remains interested in how the Ice Edge boys “look” going into the next battle?

For that matter, when will hockey fans stop wondering when Gary Bettman is going to “get it”, and move some of the failing teams to Canada? Bettman is carrying out the orders of the foreign bankers. I would show you the Ron McLean video again, but apparently it violated YouTube copyright laws. Gosh, how convenient.

So when we started our investigation we saw quickly that the battle of hockey in the NHL was all about politics. It stated with the obvious Glendale city, extended to the State when we brought Phoenix and CityNorth in, and has extended to the national monopolization of sport.

Wait, let me change that. It has extended to a global monopolization of sport. We touched on this a bit already, and there are some good people out there hockey land, like my friends that can elaborate.

A reliable source that cannot be divulged has brought the word about sports monopolization.

So when the boys from Ice Edge just happened to come on the scene, they brought with them more than memories from White House visits. They brought a history of playing in the club. No, not the hockey club, but the club of political maneuvering.

Ice Edge has a history and connections with military development and spending, sharing that space with some boys from Abu Dhabi.

They are entrenched. They are the chosen ones to keep the “plan” in focus.

So, if you are a sports fan dancing around poor attendance and are still thrashing Gary Bettman, you just don’t get it yet do you?

If you are looking for logic to eventually slip in to the mindset of an NHL that cares more about strategic locations than profit, think no more. It was never about what made sense from a hockey market perspective. And until we treat the disease the symptoms will not go away.

Politics and hockey. The powers that be had a plan, and hell or high water they have to continue the charade, taking money from whoever is crazy enough to give it to them.

Did you know ‘they’ consider us “cannon fodder”?

George Washington Hunt in his younger years

We know who George Washington was, but do we know about the mission of George Washington Hunt? His is a story worth telling. What would drive a man to dedicate his life to a cause he considers worth risking his life for?

George Washington Hunt had just lost a son, and was on a mission years ago to get his other son a job in the environmental industry. What happened to him was a prophecy fulfilled. He was allowed into a meeting with the Global Elites’ – a  meeting that  would change his life forever.

But, according to Hunt, he  was prepared and already knew  about the “mission” he would eventually be destined for after an encounter with God.

In this encounter decades earlier, God advised Hunt that some day he would be put in the path of the “ravenous beasts of the world“, and when it actually happened, Hunt knew his role, and his life mission from that point forward.

As a very brief overview, George Hunt describes the Global Elite he was involved with as eugenists, looking to reduce the population of the world by at least two billion. They were to work toward the complicated system of removing bank competition, and eventually reduce the banking system to one world bank, responsible for everyone. All the while, doing the equivalent of “rape and pillage” – taking without compensation all that represented wealth.

If one was to challenge the bank, they would be cut off, and would not be able to buy or sell anything. Creating masses at the mercy of the few in power would be the goal, and as we are seeing in the U.S. this is a process that is well underway, gaining ground at an alarming pace. In fact, if what Hunt was told years ago by this group comes true, the monetary system of the world is to collapse by 2012, and the system of “buy/sell” control would be in full swing.

If this is sounding like Biblical scripture, it is. It is supporting the bigger picture that world events are supporting.

Here is an excerpt from George Hunt’s website:

My name is George Hunt and I was an official host at the UNCED 4th World Wilderness Congress. I am educating the public to understand that a secret bank was set in motion by international financier Edmond de Rothschild. The bank will eventually be the only bank to exist as banks merge with one another into a larger bank. As the large and small banks topple toward large banks, where will it stop? The ultimate bank may be the Bank privee Edmond de Rothschild which was created in Geneva, Switzerland, a month after the aforementioned UNCED Wilderness Congress was held. It is presently known as the World Conservation Bank.

The bank will promote conservation but judge the hypocrisy of UNCED’s Maurice Strong, Rothschild’s right hand, as he brazenly attempts to circumvent Colorado water laws and ruin valuable farmlands. The bank utilizes the media to spread environment fears too. Spreading these fears will justify monstrous, inoperative, greenhouse effect projects for the greed rich and fat contracts. Some scientists have stated that they have serious questions concerning the lack of scientific methods and false or inadequate presumptions may have been used in the environment studies.

Please keep an open mind when you watch these video series, starting with an overview of the Climate Change (Global Warming) movement and what it means. From the show, “Conspiracy Theory”:

And, yesterday, Hunt was interviewed by Alex Jones:

Parts: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

On yesterdays Glenn Beck Show, Glenn discussed the “redistribution of wealth” disguised as the Health Care Bill. Could it be really the stripping of wealth so mankind is equally poor and at the mercy of the powerful?

Beck also criticized the other “plays” the government is making to strip wealth and equalize the people. All profits are subject to taxation it would seem, except the Federal Reserve’s. This would be in keeping with the “conspiracy fact” as Hunt would put it, to channel wealth to the global bankers.

In Australia we have farmers that are losing their farmland to the environmental movement. This too would be in keeping with the theory that the global elite want to take over assets. Much like Goldman Sachs was able to kill the competition of banks in the U.S. after the housing bubble. Goldman Sachs “shorted” the housing market because they knew the bubble would bust, and leave many banks in trouble. Consolidating the banking industry in a move to eventually get to the elusive “one” ?

Here is a clip on the Australian farmer Peter Spencer on a hunger strike. Remember, the climate change carbon taxes are in deep question, after the leak of emails from researchers who blew the whistle on the scam, known as ClimateGate.

We briefed on the issue of “eminent domain” in our previous discussions on how many sports owners made lots of money from the obtaining of land. One of these owners was George W. Bush, when he sold the Texas Rangers Baseball team. Now however the stakes appear higher.

Lord Monckton, former adviser to Margaret Thatcher and Climate Change opponent for many years has argued that the carbon scam will allow the governments of the world to take over farm land from farmers with taxation and land use laws, similar to the issues that are now affecting the farmers of Australia.

The effect will be fewer farms, creating a food shortage that Monckton advises will drive up global food prices and create death to third world countries by the hundreds of millions, and billions of people.

Incidentally, these people appear to be viewed by the elitists as “cannon fodder with bloated bellies”.

What seems to be happening right now is the process on steroids. The U.S. is invading countries more numerous than any time in the past, which would appear in an attempt to cut off the oil routes to Russia and China. Could the ultimate goal be to use the Saudi oil as a sanction to these countries to make them comply with the global government model?

The U.S. has more job growth in government jobs than manufacturing as Glenn Beck has pointed out, and eventually the unions that are being favoured, as well as the public employees will have no trough upon which to feed. There will be no manufacturing left to create the money for taxation. Eventually, as Beck would say, the machine will have to start to eat itself.

And, on that note, Northcom, it has been claimed, is awaiting the violent revolution of the American people. This too is expected from the global elitists, that know, according to George Hunt, that it will take more tragic events and “infighting” to shape the masses - the “cannon fodder” to where they can be handled easily.

To further support the notion of global eugenics, we can see evidence in the U.S. health care bill. It would seem the support of abortion and euthanasia principles  are attached to the current bill. The point that needs to be made is this power in the wrong hands could be devastating, from forcing abortions, to cutting off health care as proposed. The “cutting off” of care is found in the bill under when the “medical board” will decide if an individual will be allowed to be treated for his or her condition. There will no longer be a choice to get the best health care. Apparently, the patient’s physician will not have a say either, only the panel. So, what if the panel for cost or other reasons gets more sticky, and makes more decisions to cut off care?  The power of God in the hands of man is a scary thought, isn’t it? If there is no alternative that can be afforded anymore, the state will have full control whether a man has an opportunity for life. Where does the government think they have the right to decide whether someone lives or dies?

As an investigator I look at various sources and paint a picture. I did it for the Phoenix Coyotes case, and now, the investigation of hockey made it clear there was something more sinister in the bigger picture. We will continue to see how current world events fit this model. You might agree there seems to be much at stake for us all.

And, I don’t know about you, but I prefer to think of myself and others as children of God. Where we are assured that God loves us all so much, that He has even counted the number of hairs on our heads.

And for those people who think they can decide who gets to live and who gets to die I would say one thing to them.

Why do they think they should be superior to us?

And finally this needs to be said.

No matter how difficult life is, we all deserve to be treated equally. This should not be confused with taking from the rich and giving to the poor. For in a generous world that cared for those less fortunate, we would not have a situation where there is a chance a very few can dictate who lives and who dies.

If you are struggling in any way as an honest person, you already have much more than those that have monetary wealth, but have lost their souls in the process.

Ice ‘hedge’ Edge digs it’s foundation and ‘derives’ benefits both ways

And for the next Christmas present, the Ice Edge boys were the last on the mat to pin this one down! A succesful tag-team victory to save face for the American economy and the Canadian, er sorry, American game!

As Michael Moore asked a banker in his latest movie to explain what a ‘derivative’ is, the complicated reasoning for any entity to want to take on the financially troubled Phoenix Coyotes is equally head scratching.

The darlings at Research Edge/Ice Edge have connections past or present with Onex, MSD Capital, the Carlyle Group, and dare we say Mubadala. Would this suggest they are a  sheer coincidence as the  found solution for Glendale and the National Hockey League?  Not likely. As suspected, it suggests who you know that is ‘safe’ has been and always will be the solution when industry is tied to government, on levels of municipal, state, and country.

To hypothesize based on the facts presented so far could only lead us to one logical conclusion – there is a business reason and equally important a “damage control” reason to come forward as the  new Coyotes’ owners.  This notion makes Ice Edge’s Daryl Jones’ comment from the past truer than ever, and now understandable.

A better Christmas present than the year Daryl visited the White House?

A business reason?  Yes, and it is not just some nice Canadian/American company doing the people (fans) of Phoenix a favor. The Phoenix Coyotes have always represented a financial challenge that transcended hockey and most certainly the National Hockey League. We have learned that there could be several issues at play, making the issue of who offered the most money to Jerry Moyes seem at this stage almost ‘silly’. For that, I would have to argue with Gary Bettman who remember said that this team was never in jeopardy, and the notion of which was, well, you know, “silly”. Bettman also told us this was not an issue of Balsillie against Bettman, or anyone else. I would at this stage also agree with Gary Bettman.

We had Abu Dhabi investment, specifically Mubadala visit our site on numerous occasions, and it became clear they were likely not hockey fans just checking out how the team was doing. No, more than likely Mubadala had or has major interest financially in either the arena bonds, or other aspects of investment in the Glendale area. Moving the hockey team would likely not sit well with Mubadala if they were the bondholders expecting city growth, and sales tax revenues related to that growth. CityNorth in Phoenix, as we keep coming back to is the sample point. Sales tax growth is what the revenue streams are based on, and that is why that expensive ($480,000) parking spot is being used as an example. We could have the same level of expectation from Mubadala on the Jobing.com (nee Westgate arena) bonds.

Mubadala is also the common denominator as is Michael Dell of MSD Capital/SOF Investment. We also learned that Michael Reinsdorf is a player in the development of Glendale area sports, and the band of merry men including Alan Leventhal came into play as Beacon Sports assessed Jobing.com for Glendale at Reinsdorf’s calling. As the Phoenix New Times refreshingly pointed out in their unlike-mainstream reporting, the $48,000 charge from Beacon did not have to be reported, suggesting there is more than a little palm greasing going on at City Hall in Glendale, and God knows where else.

The sad reality is that the lawyers for Glendale that seemed silly in their arguments could have saved a lot of legal fees had we just listened to them.

The lawyers defended and fought an issue so entrenched  and hopeless that padding their bank accounts is like the Wall Street bailout. A big difference I would support is that the lawyers working this case actually made it seem like Jim Balsillie was going to stand a chance – and for that they deserve every penny earned. We even must unfortunately question the abrupt ‘cease fire’ attitude of Judge Baum, who had spent plenty of time in reflection of this case, and no doubt was giving it due diligence. Either a deal was worked out or politics played a great role. We may never know, but in fairness and hope for us in Canada, Jim Balsillie went away equally as quickly. Two men (judge and financial vigilante) going outside of character and abruptly walking away.

That didn’t make sense adding to the situation. When Balsillie said that Canada is that much closer to getting a Canadian team, my money is that we can take that as a sign of a potential deal. What we witnessed in court was what I would call a ‘silent deal’, where a few truths were made known to back off the dogs, and what we are seeing now is the playing out of the plan that has been arranged. Canada might just get another team, just not one so entrenched in International politics that includes Arabian investment in America in land, banks, military spending, etc. No those people you don’t get upset at you, wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

Why the case took so long to come to its conclusion is a mystery however. That is unless more Canadians learned how America’s economy “really works”, and it took us Canucks a little while to clue in.

Some of us (me at the top of the list) learned a lot of the issues of America, a cause that I have continued to look into, and I would suggest we all do the same – from the current wars, to the economy, to the Federal Reserve, to the Bilderberg Group, to the Carlisle Group, to Obama’s front men from Wall Street occupying the Treasury seats, etc, etc. I was never much for politics, but the case for hockey in Canada has made me learn that the National Hockey League is an entrenched part of the financial issues that the entire United States suffers from, and taking a piece of that pie to Canada was not likely to happen.

So, if you are wondering why we in Canada could not simply bid the highest amount of money, helping Jerry Moyes recoup some of his sustained losses, this is the wake up call. What will happen in the coming months and years will not only affect hockey, but will have an effect on the rights and other privileges we in Canada have today.

Back to Ice Edge – how might they fit?

Keith McCullough - housing expected to come back (see CNN Money video)

See Keith McCullough in video explaining perceived upturn in the housing market: from CNNMoney.com . McCullough as you will note was the ‘hedge’ expert at the Carlyle Group that Mubadala and the Bush family have great interest in. Terrific coincidence or closer to the reason this group was standing when the dust has settled, and as the municipalities’ and hockey team dilemma is worked through?

McCullough supports a low dollar? Let’s not get into the  Ben Bernanke dilemma and the fact the Fed does not want to disclose where the money goes, and has not had an audit since it’s inception over 90 years ago. With the way things are going, how about a “collapsed” dollar?  How would that help the U.S. and the world?  We digress, back to the issue at hand..

Let’s look at the possibilities for a business solution (partnership) that would work for Ice Edge, the City of Glendale, and the arena bondholder (Mubadala?).

Let’s say the economy continues to go south, and more Arizonans continue to struggle financially, losing their homes, not being able to pay property taxes, etc. We would have the City of Glendale’s operating deficit rising to continued nightmarish proportions. Just throwing this thinking out to you.

So, the brilliant young men at Research Edge would come in and either import Canadians as LeBlanc alluded to or perhaps they would find investors to otherwise buy tax paper to bail out Glendale on property tax collection, or more likely a combination of the two.

Research Edge if they do this will stand to gain large! The National Hockey League will pale in comparison in bad times. As the rink continues to empty in proportion to the homeowners and property tax payments taking a dive, the Edge boys can effect the “business reason”, and help the City of Glendale out in the tax department. Should the economy improve,  disposable income will come back, and hopefully the good folks of Phoenix will start to have more disposable income.

But, the likely next couple of years will be a down economy, and Research Edge will kick in the plan with the City of Glendale, and the Phoenix Coyotes will be a tax write off for the parent company. Hedging the bet with a derivative of sorts – that counters the economy and hockey ticket sales. Brilliant really! Michael Moore may be calling to find out how that one works too.

Mubadala, if they are indeed the bondholders will reap their share of revenues as prescribed because the City will look to reducing or eliminating the budget crisis with the aid of the only boys capable of helping and everyone wins. Well, everyone except the struggling taxpaying voters in Arizona that have been sold down the river by the Wall Street driven Federal Reserve, the Bilderberg Group, and the state  and municipal politicians. We had better keep a close eye on this group in Canada or our economy may go into the gutter too.

But that is another story isn’t it? When we in Canada question why we couldn’t just get another hockey team, we should start to look at the bigger picture – the much, much bigger picture!

More on Bilderberg Group and Canada:

Past articles related on Ice Edge:

Is it you, Waleed?

The big question: Has Waleed and Mubadala invested in Glendale, AZ, and specifically, do they hold the Jobing.com bonds?

The man with lots of clout, and lots of investment ties to the U.S., including Arizona may have tapped into more than just $480,000 parking spots in Phoenix!

Director of Advanced Micro Devices, Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi is also the COO of the Mubadala Development Company.

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) has supplied chips to Dell Computer (as obvious as that might seem).

In short, Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi is of major influence in investment circles in Abu Dhabi, and has a history with Dell, Related Companies, John Buck International, the Carlyle Group, and on and on.

The question after visits to our site from Abu Dhabi, including directly from the Abu Dhabi Investment Council, and ten minutes later from Mubadala themselves begs the question whether Waleed is an investor in the  arena bonds. Bonds with sales tax related revenue streams strikingly similar to those involved in Phoenix CityNorth that Mubadala, MSD Capital, and Related Companies all had interest in.

And, has this shaped the bizarre stance  and awkward maneuvers of the NHL, the City of Glendale, and others?

Would it also help answer other questions? Like why  (of all possible lending sources) was MSD brought in to bail out Jerry Moyes? Coincidence, or because he is related by a business past with Mubadala. As a means of keeping things quiet perhaps?

We know that Mubadala has interest in the U.S., and in Phoenix. How about Glendale too?

Suspicion at the very least by what has been uncovered, and who is interested in this case, as it drags on.

Covering the tracks?

And just for fun, say you were in the United Arab Emirates, and you were concerned that someone might find out you had interest in the Jobing.com arena bonds. Would you do a google search? How about a google search for the original arena name (Westgate Arena)?

Well, if we key in this search in google – “Mubadala Westgate arena bond” (or simply “Westgate Arena Bond”)

….we get this result:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rls=com.microsoft%3Aen-us%3AIE-SearchBox&rlz=1I7SNYR_enCA319CA319&q=Mubadala+Westgate+arena+bond&aq=f&oq==

And isn’t it interesting that the page that comes up at the top is the very same article that the folks in Abu Dhabi found.

That spawned me to write the next article as the Abu Dhabi connection started to sink in, and led to this visit:

which was shared with  the  Investment Council and Mubadala shortly thereafter?

Consistent with this potential search is the understanding that Mubadala and Abu Dhabi want to keep things quiet. Remember the “cloak of secrecy” in Abu Dhabi investments?

A desire to keep a low profile, and thus making sure “nothing turns up” to suggest Mubadala or whoever holds the bond is “find-able”.

While we had visits over time from Abu Dhabi and Dubai, we never had any specific visits until recently from Mubadala (and as mentioned we have had several since a couple of days ago).

Westgate Arena gets this result and page, but not “Jobing.com arena bond”. Whoever may have searched that would have knowledge that the bond name was not listed as Jobing.com because that sponsor was not in place originally. It would have been referenced to “Westgate Arena” only. This would suggest knowledge of the original name, and likely the name on any bond issue.

The more we look, the more we find.

So if you live in Phoenix or other parts of the U.S., and you are low on gas, think of the oil rich. And when you go and park your car, wonder how much the financing for that spot cost.

And then when you wonder why the economy is going south, ask who is stripping you of your money.

If you live in Glendale and are a Coyotes fan, don’t think for a minute that the wealthy that are holding your city hostage won’t ditch out when a decent payoff is offered. That’s why the NHL is not bending over backward to find a new owner for you. It may not be up to them.

Just look to the big boys with the big connections, that are having fun with your tax dollars. Like they need more!

It will help you understand  how they get richer and richer.
