“The View” for Victory: You don’t have to be crazy to work here, but it helps

Let’s forget Gary Bettman on the podium somewhere North of the 49th Parallel telling those in Edmonton that to sustain their franchise, they will have to develop a mixed-use mega suite filled, glam box, complete with Casino, offices, and all kinds of glitter……or he’ll build an arena in some remote non-hockey loving town like Mexico City, ’cause the government is more generous there! Let’s talk about Jones on the View instead, and how he ticked off Barbara Walters!

What an animal!

And I mean that in the most sincere sense of the word.

Alex Jones had Whoopie Goldberg and Barbara Walters speechless, as it was obvious they were very keyed into the warning signs of what might come out of Alex Jones’ mouth.

I have seen God work before, and when he does, it gives me the chills. I think I witnessed God’s work through his devoted witness, Alex Jones on the clip on the View of yesterday. Don’t go scrambling to see if his religion is Jehovah either, okay?

I know what your thinking – - just as things were getting heated up again with the last article that was starting to question the NHL focus on arena and “area development” such as Casinos, restaurants, office complexes, etc., and yeah, I know, you’d prefer to hear about how Mr. Bettman seems to be the last man standing to put a “whaaaat” into your mind — you know the Edmonton “sustainability” as a hockey franchise can only be accomplished by……are you sitting down?……..building a new mega arena a and mixed-use complex like in Phoenix, and in Dallas – - the two white elephants of sport.

I know, you might be wondering as I if there was something more in it for the guys that are supposed to think more about hockey than land, and you are probably piecing together the notion that every time the big boss speaks it’s about building arenas and local shopping and entertainment districts. And then you are thinking, maybe — No! Couldn’t be. No! Oh my God, what if it is? No. Couldn’t be. It would sure explain a lot and explain why certain things happened in Phoenix. No! Couldn’t be. But what if it is? No…..and on, and on you go. So, to take your mind off that potential for its own little breed of corruption, let’s divert to a bigger kettle.

But first, perhaps we should also drift back into memory and think of the history of the Madison Square Garden renos that were pushed by Related Companies many moons ago, and yes they were involved in Phoenix at City North related to the Coyotes hockey disaster, and boy, those guys in New York, they sure were trying to get the mayor to go for the big project weren’t they?

No, for now we should talk about the latest “V” for victory — Alex Jones supporting the truth movement otherwise known as exposing corruption.

And if you haven’t noticed, that’s a mandate from God. Sorry to offend those that are looking to hear just about sport, the NHL, and not about Charlie Sheen, Alex Jones, the New World Order and God. Problem is, they are all related.

You see, exposing corruption knows no bounds. It is a battle that has God giving wisdom to those he chooses that leave others scratching their heads, perhaps sending that divine shiver through you that spells – DIVINITY!

Wow! Pumped cannot express the feeling and the exhilaration from watching a victory like you are about to see below. But you must do yourself a favour, go to the attached YouTube site to read the comments because that is equally satisfying.

Pay attention to the crowd’s applause, because the people in the audience may be at the filming of the View, but they are also, many of them, closet NWO (New World Order) philes. Like an audiophile, not a pedophile. A ‘phile’, a student, someone aware, but most still in the closet ’cause someone might think it’s not cool to really know what’s going on.

But when you can’t help but see a slam dunk for humanity, you can’t help but love the moment, and put those hands together New York, for the greatest moment of broadcast history, Mr. Alex Jones shutting up the “hens” of New York.

Step right up people, and witness what must have been divine intervention in cleverness for the man who spoke fast, because once bitten twice shy, you do what you got to do. Overlook the putdown attempts, and the attempts to paint Sheen and Jones with the “cuckoo” brush at the same time. That’s right, you’re one of us now if you saw the not so well orchestrated attempt to paint Sheen as a manic, and to label Jones a kook.

Yes, put those hands together and share in the exhilaration of your “coming out”.

It might actually become socially acceptable to know what in the world is going on in the world, and not listen to the controlled media tell you what to think.

Shivering yet?

First comes Sachs (love), then comes Mubadala (marriage), then comes the United Nations (that would be the baby in the baby carriage)

The debt that will not allow us to part!

For better or worse, this baby seems to be Glendale's

Bear with me for a moment, won’t you?

These are strange days indeed aren’t they? And our Phoenix Coyotes hockey drama is no exception.

As you know, we have been following the Coyotes case for several months, and we have been bombarded with evidence of “special interests” that have come around to see what’s being said, by who and why.

There have been visits to this site over time from some very key players in my opinion (no not hockey players) that have helped paint an albeit circumstantial but thought-provoking case to suggest there is a story to tell of who is pulling the strings in the battle of this NHL franchise.

So, again, please bear with me on this one a bit longer. Something has occurred to me based on recent and past activity that might shed some interesting light on the circumstances and reason we are still talking about Glendale and their ability to hold onto this team.

This case we have argued has transcended sport and has touched on the political realm in many ways.

If you are still here despite my apparent losing it, you might fall into one of three categories – one that just picks out the hockey stories. Or, you might have been intrigued by the Global world issues and how it may tie in with sports. Or, you may be interested in  a combination of the two; that either came originally for the hockey discussion, or later when we got into the globalist issues, and  perhaps you decided both had relative merit. Whatever the reason, thank you for being with us.

I may be able to bring more closure to the many questions that remain. Could it be that world powers that have investment in the United States and it’s municipalities are truly running the show? Let’s see what’s old and what’s new.

Jim Balsillie and his team were baffled when  the City of Glendale didn’t take his $50 million offer seriously in court, an offer that would have covered off approximately four years of bond obligations on the arena lease. The Balsillie legal team was  also leaning their case in the direction of pinning hope on the Goldwater case against concessions, and also there was a tremendous emphasis on the Toronto Maple Leafs apparent (no make that “obvious”) veto rights. The NHL Constitution was on the forefront, but there was something very strange by the way Judge Redfield T. Baum disregarded the Veto issue. Could he have been tipped off that it was not going to be a factor? With so much reflection and thought, Baum made an abrupt ruling that I would assume he was not too proud of. I am sure given the circumstances, he would have preferred to send a clear message that the creditors should come first in bankruptcy court, but it would appear there was influences that he was not necessarily in control of. His ruling left us hanging and feeling let down. It just didn’t seem in keeping with his character and his credentials. Politics may have played a role. I believe Baum himself felt disappointed by the direction he had to proceed in. Justice was surely not served to the man who was set up by the colluding parties in this case. The bankruptcy trustee,  Lashinsky came with a bark, but left with no bite.

For Glendale, we must remember that hockey was a means to an end – a way of attracting residents, business, and tax dollars, and it was part of the bigger infrastructure aspirations of the Glendale City Hall. They made the decision, as did Phoenix to go for broke in the method of financing when they took on the very iffy demand for hockey, that did not match the very concrete lease and bond obligations. It would appear by their desperation, they were not being let off the hook by whoever controlled the bonds for the arena. One comment that stands out in memory from the court case, was Glendale’s urgency that if they lost the Coyotes, the would have to replace the loss with another hockey team. There did not seem to be an option.

While Jerry Moyes gave free advice that made sense, which emphasized that concert venues would be more lucrative, he was backed up by the same advice from the experts at Beacon Sports – bring in more concerts in a year. Seemed obvious, no? Obvious to everyone except Glendale. Or maybe it was obvious, just not allowed! Remember the comment that they would have to replace the lost Coyotes with another hockey team. Oh yeah, says who?

We had Michael Dell investing in land and land deals in Glendale and Phoenix, and famous of these was CityNorth, which was challenged in court for violation of Gift Laws. He shared that space with Related Companies, and in the mix was Mubadala. Mubadala and Dell are no strangers in other areas, with Mubadala suppliers of the AMD chip for Dell Computer, and we can go on from there.

The relationships seemed to intertwine in this case, which shares that space with the Glenn Beck show’s direction these days. Not to say I trust Glenn Beck, but what truth he brings, albeit contrived and in a questionable manner, it remains the truth. His recent tying in of all kinds of lo and behold friends in Crime Inc. reminds me of this hockey story.

So here we are. The NHL has apparently come to terms with Glendale City Hall on keeping the Coyotes in Glendale for one more year, as the City has guaranteed $25 million in losses.

That would not be as big a deal under other circumstances, but it is the timing that is suspect in this case.

Here’s what I am getting at.

Within the last couple of days, I reported on Goldman Sachs visiting the site, checking out Ice Edge. Sachs is implicated in several global issues of corruption and is also implicated in the derivative scandals in Europe. Their reputation – not so good.

Then, we had Mubadala come back to our site, they too interested in Ice Edge. Mubadala, having interest in Phoenix (CityNorth) was suspected by past visits to be a strong candidate to be bond holders for the Jobing.com arena. And equally important, the nature of Mubadala investment is “secretive”, where they do not want to be known as investing anywhere. That is just their nature. Bear this in mind.

Then, we had the “mystery bidders” that have come on the scene that do not want to be disclosed. Coincidence? Could it be our friends Mubadala that all of a sudden have come to the rescue of their investment? Could they have pressured the City of Glendale to ensure that a “hockey team” occupies that arena? Would it explain much?

And if Mubadala was an international influence to the United States, would any court action be dampened by controlling powers within government to ensure they are kept happy?

What of the past visits by Mubadala checking out Ice Edge? Was Ice Edge put in place to be a potential solution?

As Daryl Jones pointed out it was a “business decision” to come to the rescue of the Coyotes. And, Keith McCullough thought that nobody in Phoenix wanted to go to a game anyways, so what was the attraction to the Coyotes? Where exactly was the “business reason for Ice Edge? Could they have been, as suspected, either a diversion or a prop put into place by the powers that be? After all, lots of government past relationships with this group, wouldn’t you say? Possible at the very least.

And now, the coup de gras, the icing on the cake.

We have said for a while that visits to the site could be a coincidence. That is always possible. It is always possible. The question remains, under the circumstances, are they all just coincidences?

Could this visit by the United Nations beaming to the category of Mubadala also be a fluke?

I suppose we should all make sure they stay happy now!  Would they be the bankers that Gary Bettman alluded to in his interview with Ron McLean that seemed a lifetime ago?

We had asked the question with bad grammer, Who is them?

Perhaps Gary was right all along – don’t get your hopes up Canada. There is more to this than meets the eye. It’s damage control and not personal. The NHL dirty laundry was just the casualty of dashed hopes when a country sells itself out, and anything remotely fair becomes far from  possible. For that,  I can see whyBettman would have wished this  never happened.

It was perhaps the most relative 20 minutes from finding a new owner sports will ever know.

“We’ve come to take our government back”: Rand Paul’s comment after winning Senate Primary in Kentucky

“Programs, get your Programs here!”……Global news and events that are rocking the Globalists and creating doubt that they can get this done!

Oh, so much has happened and continues to happen in the quest for the Globalists to take over the globe by financial derivative implosions and corrupt politicians that have been put in place to further the cause.

The world is under hijack by criminals, and in the words of a true Tea Partier and libertarian, Rand Paul’s landslide victory in the Kentucky Primary speaks directly to the President of the United States.

Paul ensured he mentioned Climate Change and the President’s support  and apology to the world that it was wrong to have an Industrial Revolution. Climate Change Legislation is designed for one purpose and one purpose only – to destroy capitalism and effectively the middle class.

The globalists are on the run, claims Alex Jones of Infowars.com, and he would be first to see the “awakening” of the American people, witnessing an audience growth that used to be two million listeners a week, to over one million per day! Everywhere, thanks to so many dedicated people who have been handing out the movies and emailing articles to one another, there has become a growing awareness of the master plan.

Glenn Beck has even changed. Whether he can be trusted is another question, but lately he has brought  the bigger picture that he describes as Crime, Inc.

Accused of pedaling gold for Goldline, Beck on his May 19th broadcast explained that gold keeps its value in hard times. Many believe the U.S. government has suppressed the value of gold, because if it were allowed to adjust to the true market, it may be over $3000 an ounce, that would send shock waves through the easily manipulated stock markets.

In truth, the markets today can not be trusted.

Hedge funds and other derivatives that are outside of government regulation have been allowed to be used as tools of financial terrorism by the big banks and investment firms. The market a rigged casino of sorts with stakes very high.

That is why the stock of Accenture was allowed to plummet from over $45 per share in the 10 minutes of havoc to a penny. Trillions of dollars of wealth was wiped out of existence within the 30 minutes. The culprit – short selling and options trading – one investor hedging the losses of the plunge of the markets to ensure if the number dropped to a trigger amount, they would be able to cover off their obligations. But who suffered the most?

An analogy I think of is the “virtual new car”, that the bankers told you that you bought, but in virtual reality. They would tell you that despite the fact that you didn’t actually get in and physically take possession, you drove it off the lot for all intents and purposes, and now you have turned it back in. At a loss and huge depreciation. The difference in cost is what you owe. There was nothing physical ever having to exist, just a thought. But the debt – that is real!

Reminds me too of the child playing that farm game on Facebook and his mother receiving a bill for “real interest” on a virtual game. Incredible isn’t it?

Well, derivatives and the stripping of nation after nation, Iceland to Greece and beyond have another cousin in Climate Change.

Rand Paul wanted to send a clear and precise message to the White House. The people are on to the scam.

The people in Greece are also on to the scam and have been in riot mode for a while now. It’s interesting, this morning we had this visit to the article on the Prime Minister’s role with Climate Change,

I tried to research who the Greek Public Administration Network was, and I can only surmise it is a government branch. That would be consistent.

Just as consistent as the mystery investors in Abu Dhabi, who have visited numerous times, and today, they came by to check out what the latest was,

Still thinking there is a link between past involvement with land development in Phoenix, there is suspicion they have an anchor around the City of Glendale’s neck with respect to sales tax revenues on Jobing.com arena, home of the Phoenix Coyotes. It’s a strange situation, and only getting stranger with the addition of a “mystery bidder”. Hmmm, could the bidders be Mubadala? It would sure be consistent with the secretive nature of how they do business, as we have discussed in the past.

An interjection about our state of being in Canada. Could it be PM Harper is smiling nice to the G20, all the while wondering how to get the nutjobs off our case? Just remember, we are with you boys!  The pressure is on to effect the NAU (North American Union), and the Harper Government must be under intense fire. Hang in there PM, the world is waking up!

Where Rand Paul states they want to take their government back, Harper must be wondering how he can keep his country sovereign.

Flaherty fights what some might miss: The further transfer of middle class wealth

From Hillary Clinton telling us to allow abortions (back off woman!) to Ban Ki-moon of the U.N. telling us to get back to the Kyoto agreement, and Flaherty fighting the G20 bank tax (grab), there really is some signs that the Conservatives are in Globalist – awareness – fight mode. And, can we thank a renewed, Christian revival or Saul-like revelation on Harper’s part? Could it be the Christian influence in the Government in Canada?

All I can say is Go boys go! Crime Inc. wants our money, and I say no way Jose!

Fitting, I will close with this thought. John McCain had better ramp up his campaign, because as Alex Jones has pointed out, he is going to have one heck of a time keeping his Senate seat.

Arizona passed immigration laws, and where does McCain stand in support? Illegals threatening to kill more Arizona police?

This charade and using illegals as a weapon against the American people must stop too. See www.alipac.us for more info.

As far as States’ rights, I can only think of the Paul Simon tune, “50 ways to leave your lover“.  And, all of them are “States”.

The Climate Change dupers and globalists are going to have a hard time with the U.S., now aren’t they?

An obvious hit with the audience, yeah, sorry, Miss Oklahoma was not favoured by the judges. Rah rah U.N., eh?

From Canada, God Bless America!

Of course they are!

More evidence of the monopolization of sport (and everything else!)

The big boys just keep getting bigger.

It’s all about power and control…. to tax the air we

breath ;control the food we eat, the  medicine we use; and censor the news we hear….

Sit back, pour a strong cup of joe, and ponder what used to be ridiculous.

I’m talking about conspiracy theories. And believe it or not, the sports leagues don’t seem to be immune – sharing  suspicious space with government and the chosen corporations.

It’s an interesting choice of  words to describe the unthinkable –  a “conspiracy theory”?

Some of you are going to say, oh no, just as we were going so well on hockey talk, here we go again with how this guy thinks it all ties together with conspiracies. Ridiculous right! Right? Funny how things come across my desk.

Looking at the visitors this morning, I had the pleasure of Abu Dhabi’s company today. And not just any company, oh no, it came from the “Crown Prince Court” (where did they go?).

Now, if you are like me, you’d have to say, who? Well, googling brings some interesting facts.

If we can digress a moment, we can go back to 2007, when

President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan

President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has issued a federal decree transferring units from Emirates Media Inc. to the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court.

It’s okay, we don’t need to pay for the whole article, that will do. After all, we can use another article to make sense of this move. Why take on the broadcasting company, Emirates Media, Inc.? We may have our answer here:

The problem for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is that it faces this future with much of its official face turned towards the past. An atmosphere of secrecy prevails, as a number of conservative, anachronistic bodies seek tight control over the flow of information. The result is to thwart efforts towards a wider liberalisation.  For many years the most maligned of these bodies was the federal ministry for information and culture, which effectively controlled all domestic newspaper and television output and the importation of all books and films into the UAE. The ministry was finally disbanded in 2006, but a number of its employees were assigned to a successor institution: the National Media Council (NMC).

Strangely sounding like the control czar in the U.S., Cass Sunstein, who is looking to turn the internet into a state run,

Cass Sunstein: I wish he gave our rights as much consideration as he does other animals!

state controlled spy network where kids will get scholarships to “keep an eye on anything remotely critical” out there in the U.S. citizenry. After all, those nasty citizens are close to terrorists, hence the need to instigate that Patriot Act. It’s actually designed to control patriots, not keep patriotism alive, don’t you know? Okay, sorry, back to the issue here.

But before we return to our welcomed guests, keep in the back of your mind our Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, who was using his entourage to control who in the media was allowed to ask a question. Yes, Mr. Harper called it something else to which I cannot recall – suffice it to say it was far removed from how the journalists saw it. Let’s leave it at that for the moment.

Our “ridiculous” conspiracy theories in general are now suggesting that Cass Sunstein and others want to control opposition in media. So, the Sheik in Abu Dhabi is not alone after all. Small world or what?

Now if we can go back again in time, to 2008, we had this reporting from (gasp) FOX NEWS, who refreshingly questioned George W. Bush:

Why is the president of the United States entertaining Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince, Sheik Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at Camp David when his own State Department has singled out the Sheik’s homeland, the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.), for its continuing violations of human rights?

It gets better, it seems George W. must have taken a shining to the whole process considering (what we already know):

“Citizens did not have the right to change their government. In some cases, security forces reportedly employed flogging as judicially sanctioned punishment. Arbitrary detention and incommunicado detention remained problems…”

“The judiciary lacked full independence. The government restricted civil liberties, including freedoms of speech, press (including the Internet), assembly, association, and religion. There were limited reports of corruption, and the government lacked transparency.”

After all, turn a blind eye or support what you believe is right. Whichever it is, of course there is that whole, rub my back I’ll rub yours aspect to it:

Abu Dhabi is one of seven oil-rich — and anti-Israel states — in the United Arab Emirates. Using its massive sovereign wealth fund of over $875 billion, Abu Dhabi has been gobbling up American assets, buying considerable stakes in U.S. businesses like Citigroup, the Carlyle Group, Advanced Micro Devices, and Toll Brother and is now bidding on the Chrysler Building.

Let’s not forget the whole Global Government or “Governance” thing, that depending on how you say it you are either worldly or a nutjob conspiracy theorist. You see “Governance” is used when “Government” scares people. Just like “Climate Change” was the replacement for “Global Warming” when someone clued in and pointed out temperatures over the past several years have been declining. And, yes, Global Government and Climate Change, if you do not like either one makes you one of us – a nasty dissident conspiracy person. For shame!

Anyhow, this could get long fast, but that’s okay, you made it this far. There are more points I promise, and I must say, I think they are juicy! Well, you can be the ultimate judge.

How does this tie in with hockey?

Well, as we investigated the friends to Glendale that seemed to have a stranglehold on Mr. Moyes, we came across the ever-interesting connections of these companies and countries.

Without beating it to death with a (climate change hockey) stick, the names that kept returning were MSD Capital, Onex, Mubadala, John Buck, Carlyle Group, DRS Technologies, and on and on. If you have read enough here, you have been bombarded with evidence that helped us tie these guys together.

And, the hints have been there without much bacon that there seems to be a move to monopolization of just about everything these days.

The government in the U.S. is just getting bigger. No conspiracy there – not if you watch Glenn Beck who at least gives us “half-truths”. That is, until he tries to break the Americans’ backs with the need to kill the unions and strip pension plans, but other than that the guy is just a peach. Just not the peach you want to bite into, cause it has a rotten core.

Anyhow, we have Stephen Harper, probably knowing full well that Climate Change is as bogus as that hokey hockey stick graph they tried to sell us, yet with him and Obama, it’s business as usual at the G20, and in Davos, Switzerland. According to Harper, we must put sovereignty second to the needs of the globe. Yeah, try telling that to the already suffering in most of the European Union. Go ask Greece, or Iceland how it’s working for them on the derivative bank scandles that are driving them into enslavement.

No, for one, I would prefer to keep our Canada sovereign. Thanks anyways.

That’s why Harper’s sit down fireside chat with Brian Williams seemed a little off – considering.

So the point I will make is this.

There is a global push for monopolization and control of everything – the media, sports, the people, the taxation of our breath – everything. And we are seeing subtle moves in business that if you aren’t paying attention may just pass you by.

That brings us to the sports ties.

We already suspect Abu Dhabi’s involvement with the Jobing.com bonds.

Now, the other friend that came to our site today was Onex Corporation.

Again, what up with Onex?, we asked. Another google search.

Low and behold we see that Onex is on the short list to  buy (please wait for the ad for Dell Computers to go away – seems to take forever!):

Sport Supply Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: RBI) (“Sport Supply Group”), the nation’s leading marketer, manufacturer and distributor of sporting goods and branded team uniforms to the institutional and team sports market, today announced that it has entered into a definitive merger agreement to be acquired by an affiliate of ONCAP Management Partners, L.P. (“ONCAP”), the mid-market private equity business of Onex Corporation (“Onex”).

Recap time.

Onex has had some interesting past players on their team. Daryl Jones (Research/Ice Edge), Eric Rosen (MSD Capital) to name a couple. And again, if you have been a long time reader you will note that Keith McCullough (Research/Ice Edge) was a hedge expert at Carlyle Group. Ah, doesn’t it all make you warm and fuzzy?

So, we have Abu Dhabi and the Crown Prince court treating their people like crap, taking over control of everything. Investing in America and likely sports, and sharing this distinction with what seems to be an ever-growing family of the rich and privileged.

Just one more thing.

It would appear as if by coincidence that Onex is also in the game to take over a media empire that had a past with current Onex boss Gerald Schwartz:

Gerald Schwartz (Onex)

Onex, Canada’s biggest publicly traded buyout firm, and Alberta Investment Management Corp. are partnering with National Post Chief Executive OfficerPaul Godfrey in the bid, the newspaper reported, citing people familiar with the bidding process. The newspaper didn’t name the people.

Now, that nasty “conspiracy side” would immediately jerk me to attention. Onex acquiring sports industry interests, and now going after media. And, second in size to only the Federal Government, eh?

Yes, if I were a conspiracy guy, I might be led to believe there could be another connection here. And, Onex recently was eying the U.S. for commercial real estate opportunities. Of course they were. Perhaps in the Phoenix area too?

The belief that distressed U.S. mortgage assets are priced at a discount, with significant potential upside, has led a number of large investment firms to create real estate investment trusts to buy assets.

Where have we heard about REITs before? Oh that’s right – Alan Leventhal the REIT expert and the owner of Beacon Sports brought in by Reinsdorf junior to “help” Glendale assess the potential of Jobing.com arena.

Excuse us if we see all the past employees of these firms working together still, in a friendly way to share the pot.

After all, the conspiracy theory  chutzpa says it’s all about monopolization, power, censorship, and giving the good deals to your chosen buddies.

As for the rest of us? Just pay tax on your every exhale and be lucky you are still allowed to live. And be grateful Canada isn’t as much of a police state as the U.S. already is. That is, until  Bill C-6 gets through.

Or until the North American Union comes back no doubt, and rears it’s ugly head. A ‘hypothetical region’ my eye!

So the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Onex visited our humble abode just five hours apart  (3 AM and 8 AM).

Of course they did!

Jerry Moyes was likely nothing more than a “fill-in” owner

No thanks to the man that filled in and bailed out the league for many years: There is no honor in the NHL

I can’t seem to get the thought out of my head.

Jerry Moyes seemed to be the man available at the time that didn’t quite fit the mold and have the background necessary to take on the responsibility of keeping the home fires burning in the NHL branch in Phoenix. And for that, Moyes presented a threat that came to fruition last year.

It’s kind of like your local minor hockey association with all the politics of the little Gretzkys and their parents that put pressure and influence on the board – eventually shaping the organization into its own breed of corruption, and hush-hush dealings. If you have been involved in minor hockey you know exactly what I’m getting at.

And then there are those times when someone comes along without an alternative – the man who poses the best case scenario at the time – willing to help but not understanding there is a lot more to what he is getting himself into than meets the eye.

This man may have aspirations to be a rep coach, or a board member, but in the case of Jerry Moyes, a man who thought it might be neat to own a hockey team. Was it all about profit to him? Not a chance.

It wouldn’t have taken Moyes long to learn that he was never going to be rich owning the Coyotes – it was really an issue of breaking even. Perhaps doing the community a favor. By the looks of things, the community never deserved his consideration. We to this day are seeing the mockery, including a recent headline from the non-grateful:

The NHL is Now Suing Jerry Moyes, Laughter From Fans Ensues

Further proof that Moyes should have been more like Reinsdorf - make the people pay. It’s a thankless job, so you might as well be cutthroat. Ensure profit and be damned with the masses. They will turn on you I am sure Reinsdorf would agree. If you can’t cut a profit, be gone. There are no white knights willing to help. The last one continues to be roasted.

So, like many months ago, it’s as if we are starting anew. We wanted to help Moyes regain some losses by sale to Balsillie, but now we must turn our assistance, however small, to helping anyone that might happen upon our blogs to gain little pieces of information we might have available.

For my part, I think it prudent to once again stress the nature of the beast. The NHL is like a minor hockey organization but with lots more money, and lots more clout. The nastiness is no different. The politics the same.

It was and will forever be who you know.

But then, the odd misfit comes a calling – unaware of the bigger picture and the problems underlying the operation.

Reinsdorf was a chosen one that could not deliver without the taxpayers footing the bill. Ice Edge may be the same, but they also lack capital – personal wealth that is. Because it is far easier to tap personal wealth dry.

You see, some owners were catching on – lend money to your team so that it can later be recouped. That is not really acceptable.

It must be getting harder and harder to bring in that elusive comrade – the one that will allow the machine of corruption and monopoly to continue to have its day.

For with Ice Edge we brought in past relationships of more than mere coincidence. Just like with Jerry Reinsdorf, who would have known son Michael was already firmly entrenched in the system?

Keith McCullough

For Keith McCullough, having worked at the Carlyle Group as the hedge expert before coming to Research Edge, would it be a coincidence that there is a good chance Mubadala is  involved, having entrenched interest and invesment in the Carlyle Group too?

Would it continue to support why Michael Dell financed the bailout cash under crippling terms to Moyes while at the time also involved, side by side, with Mubadala and Related Companies,in the CityNorth project?

Or, is it strange that Daryl Jones worked for Onex in the past before coming into play, and he shares common interest with Eric Rosen, a partner with Dell at MSD Capital? Rosen a boss at Onex too in the past.

Jones in the past at the White House wined and dined by Barbara Bush – what did he owe the pleasure?

Hmm, Carlyle Group, McCullough ‘the hedge man’, Mubadala, land development and military spending? Sounds like this team plays a global game. Sounds like you need more than money to get into this game.

If one didn’t know better, one would look at the infrastructure of America from the military spending and healthcare influences, and land development connections and come to the conclusion that they are all intertwined.

We have said it before, but since Moyes is building a case it may be worth another mention.

Moyes never did have the necessary background to be anyone but a fill-in.

And that would explain why the friends of the friends of the friends were all looking months in advance to get the misfit out.

It would also explain and better help him in his case that there was a collusion of the nastiest variety.

It might even help him win in civil court.

Is it you, Waleed?

The big question: Has Waleed and Mubadala invested in Glendale, AZ, and specifically, do they hold the Jobing.com bonds?

The man with lots of clout, and lots of investment ties to the U.S., including Arizona may have tapped into more than just $480,000 parking spots in Phoenix!

Director of Advanced Micro Devices, Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi is also the COO of the Mubadala Development Company.

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) has supplied chips to Dell Computer (as obvious as that might seem).

In short, Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi is of major influence in investment circles in Abu Dhabi, and has a history with Dell, Related Companies, John Buck International, the Carlyle Group, and on and on.

The question after visits to our site from Abu Dhabi, including directly from the Abu Dhabi Investment Council, and ten minutes later from Mubadala themselves begs the question whether Waleed is an investor in the  arena bonds. Bonds with sales tax related revenue streams strikingly similar to those involved in Phoenix CityNorth that Mubadala, MSD Capital, and Related Companies all had interest in.

And, has this shaped the bizarre stance  and awkward maneuvers of the NHL, the City of Glendale, and others?

Would it also help answer other questions? Like why  (of all possible lending sources) was MSD brought in to bail out Jerry Moyes? Coincidence, or because he is related by a business past with Mubadala. As a means of keeping things quiet perhaps?

We know that Mubadala has interest in the U.S., and in Phoenix. How about Glendale too?

Suspicion at the very least by what has been uncovered, and who is interested in this case, as it drags on.

Covering the tracks?

And just for fun, say you were in the United Arab Emirates, and you were concerned that someone might find out you had interest in the Jobing.com arena bonds. Would you do a google search? How about a google search for the original arena name (Westgate Arena)?

Well, if we key in this search in google – “Mubadala Westgate arena bond” (or simply “Westgate Arena Bond”)

….we get this result:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rls=com.microsoft%3Aen-us%3AIE-SearchBox&rlz=1I7SNYR_enCA319CA319&q=Mubadala+Westgate+arena+bond&aq=f&oq==

And isn’t it interesting that the page that comes up at the top is the very same article that the folks in Abu Dhabi found.

That spawned me to write the next article as the Abu Dhabi connection started to sink in, and led to this visit:

which was shared with  the  Investment Council and Mubadala shortly thereafter?

Consistent with this potential search is the understanding that Mubadala and Abu Dhabi want to keep things quiet. Remember the “cloak of secrecy” in Abu Dhabi investments?

A desire to keep a low profile, and thus making sure “nothing turns up” to suggest Mubadala or whoever holds the bond is “find-able”.

While we had visits over time from Abu Dhabi and Dubai, we never had any specific visits until recently from Mubadala (and as mentioned we have had several since a couple of days ago).

Westgate Arena gets this result and page, but not “Jobing.com arena bond”. Whoever may have searched that would have knowledge that the bond name was not listed as Jobing.com because that sponsor was not in place originally. It would have been referenced to “Westgate Arena” only. This would suggest knowledge of the original name, and likely the name on any bond issue.

The more we look, the more we find.

So if you live in Phoenix or other parts of the U.S., and you are low on gas, think of the oil rich. And when you go and park your car, wonder how much the financing for that spot cost.

And then when you wonder why the economy is going south, ask who is stripping you of your money.

If you live in Glendale and are a Coyotes fan, don’t think for a minute that the wealthy that are holding your city hostage won’t ditch out when a decent payoff is offered. That’s why the NHL is not bending over backward to find a new owner for you. It may not be up to them.

Just look to the big boys with the big connections, that are having fun with your tax dollars. Like they need more!

It will help you understand  how they get richer and richer.

Additional info on Jobing.com financing:

Arena: Glendale Arena
Date Built: 2003
Facility Cost (millions): $220
Percentage of Arena Publicly Financed: 82%
Facility Financing: $150 M came from the city, which will be repaid through property and sales taxes generated by the arena and its adjacent retail complex. The remaining $30 M came from general obligation bonds for public improvements approved by voters in 1999 and was paid with property taxes generated city-wide. The team committed to pay approximately $40 M for cost overruns.

More Mubadala visits confirming our beliefs? A web indeed!

Investors at the Dubai Financial Market Center

Key business connections continue to suggest very real possibility that Dell’s business friend Mubadala  has suspected involvement with the  Jobing.com arena bonds. Would this explain why MSD was brought in to bail out Jerry Moyes when in trouble?

Over the past two days, we have had more visits  from Mubadala, the investment arm of Abu Dhabi.

Curiosity or a nerve struck?

The secretive in Abu Dhabi should come forward, and if responsible for the situation with the Phoenix Coyotes in Glendale, why not stand up, wave the hand, and admit it?

Perhaps we could then make some sense of the nonsensical. Maybe join more dots as Steve Scott would say.

And, interestingly enough, Mr. Scott has added (as always) tremendous insight into complimentary issues pertinent to this reporting.

One, it is believed the sports teams in Phoenix are not paying taxes, and the Goldwater group is challenging this.

This would explain why the NHL is “moving the goalposts” as Steve Scott would say. They are awaiting the “verdict”, and perhaps the outcome of the case would allow concessions.

Hard to say.

But the big question is, if we are barking up a tree with no merit, why does Mubadala continue to visit, and look at that article suggesting we believe there is evidence that points a finger at their involvement with the Jobing.com arena bonds?

Why bother?

After all, these are the big oil barons. The players with wealth that are looking to hedge the “oil bet” with alternative forms of investment, and exercise power, and influence in a quest to, in my opinion, become very influential with the politically involved in America.

The question is, did you know about them in the US? How about fellow Canadians? Ever heard of Mubadala before the Phoenix CityNorth case was exposed? I know I didn’t.

But further support for “their thinking and motives” can be explained in this comment from US News:

But the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, in particular, has also become a focus for controversy. Estimated to have as much as $900 billion in assets, the fund is one of the few places flush with cash amid a global credit crunch. It is the largest sovereign wealth fund in the world, with holdings that are about four times larger than the biggest U.S. pension fund.

Details about the true extent of its assets are scarce and its nearly impenetrable cloak of secrecy has fueled suspicions about the government’s intentions. News of sovereign wealth funds looking to purchase stakes in U.S. firms has prompted fears in some quarters that foreign investors might be seeking to quietly take over companies or to purchase influence.

Mubadala is the common link to several interests that either have a stake in the future of the Phoenix Coyotes, or did. Or, at least might be peripherally interested in aspects of the Coyotes.

We could go on, and on, and on. We have not even mentioned the Daryl Jones ties to Onex, and Rosen, where they both worked in the past.

Take both hands and intertwine your fingers. This is a metaphor for how tight this little (growing) group is.

Now ask the question.

If you had great little deals going on and Arabian investors not too interested in anybody knowing too much about their business dealings, what are the odds that any group brought in as potential owners of the Coyotes is not somehow a friend of a friend of a friend?

If George W. can set the tone, who is to stop the rest?

The perilous ramifications of the September 11 attacks on the United States are only now beginning to unfold. They will undoubtedly be felt for generations to come. This is one of many sad conclusions readers will draw from Craig Unger’s exceptional book House of Bush House of Saud: The Secret Relationship Between the World’s Two Most Powerful Dynasties. As Unger claims in this incisive study, the seeds for the “Age of Terrorism” and September 11 were planted nearly 30 years ago in what, at the time, appeared to be savvy business transactions that subsequently translated into political currency and the union between the Saudi royal family and the extended political family of George H. W. Bush. On the surface, the claim may appear to be politically driven, but as Unger (a respected investigative journalist and editor) probes–with scores of documents and sources–the political tenor of the U.S. over the last 30 years, the Iran-Iraq War, the war in Afghanistan, the birth of Al Qaeda, the dubious connection between members of the Saudi Royal family and the exportation of terror, and the personal fortunes amassed by the Bush family from companies such as Harken Energy and the Carlyle Group, he exposes the “brilliantly hidden agendas and purposefully murky corporate relationships” between these astonishingly powerful families. His evidence is persuasive and reveals a devastating story of Orwellian proportions, replete with political deception, shifting allegiances, and lethal global consequences. Unger begins his book with the remarkable story of the repatriation of 140 Saudis directly following the September 11 attacks. He ends where Richard A. Clarke begins, questioning the efficacy of the war in Iraq in the battle against terrorism. We are unquestionably facing a global security crisis unlike any before. President Bush insists that we will prevail, yet as Unger so effectively concludes, “Never before has an American president been so closely tied to a foreign power that harbors and supports our country’s mortal enemies.” –Silvana Tropea –This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

Skulls and Bones c1947 (click pic)....that's George H.W. Bush to the left of the clock

Evidence to suggest that Charlie Sheen is more than just a good actor perhaps? Something tells me Sheen’s family was not part of the Skulls and Bones secret society.

And did George W. “sway the British P.M.” on Iraq policy? And it seems now the two countries are not very close anymore on the issues of Iraq.

Where is the true investigation into the events of 9/11 to prompt the invasion of Iraq?

The rich and powerful in America joining forces with the rich and powerful in the oil sands.  A tight little group.

If Mubadala is proven to be the bondholders, we might just get some level of closure to this case that has left many of us scratching our heads.

I have to add this weird little tidbit. I have recently looked at more information on 9/11 and you may still question why this ties into hockey in Glendale, Arizona. Fair enough. The bigger picture is the issue. What has shaped America and it’s infrastructure and its’ allegiances?

Freedom of speech is supposedly a right. And I remember in school that kids were taught that asking lots of questions was a “good thing”. Another principle that comes to mind is that you learn by questioning. We are taught not to take something at face value, but to question it. For in questioning comes understanding. Questioning and seeking to “prove it for yourself” is the foundation of learning.

But there is something very bizarre that has occured it would seem for Americans that have wanted to “put to bed” their concerns of 9/11.

When these folks have asked questions, and challenged what has not seemed right, instead of open dialogue and investigation to quell their issues, the poor folks have been labelled terrible things like “communists”, “radicals”, “truthers”, and the like.

“Truthers”?

Pardon my ignorance for not having heard that term until now.

Are those that oppose the need of truthers to know the truth really suggesting “truth” and the quest to “clear the name of those accused” as a bad thing?

The real problem with 9/11 and the truthers seeking that “evil” truth, is that the truth may actually become known.

And if the truth that becomes known is not what would be good for America, is it better to keep it a secret?

The truth could be as devastating as the U.S. national debt. The spawn of the New World Order?

When Bill O’Reilly was on David Letterman’s show, O’Reilly challenged Letterman by asking him, “Do you want the United States to win in Iraq?”. O’Reilly said it was an “easy question”. Letterman came back with, “It’s not easy for me because I’m thoughtful”.

Interesting choice of words. Buying the propaganda means you take government at their word, with simple, easy concepts like win or lose. Scary as heck.

But, like a kid that grows up to never have to face the ramifications of his own actions, is getting away with things going to be good for anybody? No. And neither is it for the nation of America.

America needs to clear it’s name, answer the questions that are so very important. As Charlie Sheen would put it, “get on the right side of history”.

Many so called radicals in their day were mocked, but later proved to be right.

But fear not Charlie and others, the truth always comes out in the end. And, it is not that you necessarily want to prove government is corrupt, but rather you want to get answers to those questions that linger.

And if we can get back to hockey for a moment, I hope the “”players in this game  all got together to send Jerry Moyes a thank you card, at the very least.  After all, Moyes could no longer afford to be taken advantage of by the friends of Glendale, Arizona, and the U.S..

We started out as Canadians wanting a hockey team, and wondering why an arena lease and bond could be such an obstacle. When we tugged on the string, it unravelled more than we bargained for indeed.

More on Sheen:

Secretive and controlling?

When we posted the article on Jerry Moyes being the victim of a squeeze play, there was an interesting and rather immediate reaction.

At that time, Vieste LLC, the NHL, and the City of Glendale all visited the site in short order, suggesting we struck a nerve.

When you uncork truth, does this mean the reaction is immediate, giving no credence to concern for anonymity?

Well, yesterday we posted the belief that Arabian investment from Abu Dhabi is likely involved in ownership of the Jobing.com arena bonds. We posted this information not in a willy- nilly, throw it out  there kind of way. No, we had mounting evidence and proof that Arabian investment is entrenching itself deep in the United States, with investment in Citigroup that even politicians have questioned. And, teaming up with American private corporations, it would appear Mubadala and other Arabian investors, as reported in many publications, have started a campaign of power, influence, and control.

The big problem one might have with all of this is that it is also no secret that the Arabian investors want to keep a low profile. Kind of like a hidden power play. Kind of sneaky.

Yesterday evening proved very interesting indeed, as we had visits (in short order) from the Abu Dhabi Investment Council:

23 Nov 23:14:29 IE 8.0 WinXP unknown United Arab Emirates Dubai,
United Arab Emirates
Abu Dhabi Investment Council (IP removed)makeiteighteh.com/2009/11/23/growing-evidence-suggests-abu-dhabi-involved-with-jobing-com-arena-bonds/

and shortly thereafter from Mubadala themselves:

23 Nov 23:24:36 IE 7.0 WinXP unknown United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi,
United Arab Emirates
Mubadala (IP blocked)
makeiteighteh.com/2009/11/23/growing-evidence-suggests-abu-dhabi-involved-with-jobing-com-arena-bonds/

Could it have been a curiosity related to false belief? Possibly. Or, could it be more confirmation that we have struck a nerve, and the folks from Abu Dhabi threw caution to the wind in visiting the article of interest, with no worry or forethough of us knowing it is them?

If we are getting close to the truth, how now should we feel?

Should we be more angry than the Arabian investors, knowing that they have controlled the game of hockey, and the chance Canadians might be able to get more of it?

Who has been influenced by this power the greatest? The U.S. as a whole, the State of Arizona, the cities of Phoenix and Glendale, or the NHL itself?

Who has “jumped into bed” to the greatest degree that has affected not only the game of hockey, but might I say the taxpayers of America?

If it is true, isn’t it time the investors from Abu Dhabi come out of the closet, say hello, and work in truth?

There are a couple of sayings that come to mind.

First, “you can’t have your cake and eat it too.”

“And second, “the truth always comes out eventually.”

I like them both, and I think they both apply.

Should we start to feel sorry for the head office of the NHL, and the officials in Glendale, or should this spawn further questioning and debate?

We asked at the outset – “Who is them?” Who are the “bankers that Gary Bettman said the league and its “partners” are accountable to?

The $480,000 spot to park a car at CityNorth in Phoenix may have a close cousin to the usury bonds that have a $700 million plus Jobing.com lease break penalty.

It’s okay though, because it is the American taxpayers footing the bill for these deals, isn’t it?

Are all the powers that be accountable to foreign control?

The delay in selling the Coyotes may have more questions now. Questions related to “is it true”?

Mounting evidence suggests Abu Dhabi investors likely involved with Jobing.com arena bonds

Game on Arabia?

I will be very brief with this update, and I intend on expanding on the argument in an upcoming post. I will also apologize if I repeat myself here, as I do not have much time in fine tuning this report. I want to get this information to you quickly, as it is significant to the questions we have had with the Phoenix Coyotes’ case.

Today,  we had a visit from Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) looking specifically at the article on why Glendale would not accept the $50 million offer from PSE.

Now that I think of it, I recall visits from Abu Dhabi from the outset of the blog postings, and while seeming odd, I did not make the potential connection. At that stage, the potential Arab connection was not exposed as it is now, either.

We have reported lately on the link with Mubadala, Related Companies, John Buck Company, and Dell’s involvement in land development, and we all know that in Arizona Mubadala is specifically involved through CityNorth with the land development subsidies with Related Companies.

The City of Glendale not too many days ago came to look at the issue of the $50 million offer, and in fact, they have come a couple of times. Could this suggest communication between the interested in Abu Dhabi and the City of Glendale?

This would answer many questions and facts that have been presented along the route of this case.

The interview with Gary Bettman and Ron McLean gave us the impression that the “bankers” are controlling the show, and we asked, “Who is them?”

If Gary Bettman and the NHL know they are answering to investors in Abu Dhabi would this explain the weird state of events and positions? Would the Arab investors be wanting to wait to see what their options are if the arena bond returns (sales tax based) are not going to be as lucrative as expected? Would they be wanting to drag this out in an effort to see how fan support is, with the thought of releasing the team to relocation, if it means they could be “bought out” with proceeds of expansion? In short, the NHL may be doing what they are directed to do, as the $800 million is one helluva penalty. You’d listen too if you had that kind of power and pressure.

So much for the NHL pocketing expansion proceeds under those conditions, eh? It would likely go directly to the mighty and powerful in Abu Dhabi.

With CityNorth we learned one valuable lesson – where there is smoke, look for fire.

This would help explain why Glendale has not budged and cannot budge on seeing reality, if it is not their decision so to speak?

An isolated visit on its own from Abu Dhabi could just be a hockey fan in a foreign country, sure. But, we have seen mounting proof of Arab investment in land development already, especially so in Arizona.

Could we be getting  much closer to the initial question nobody wants to answer?

Could Mubadala or other Arabs be the underlying investors in the secretive Jobing.com arena bonds?

Reflect if you will on what we know and what we continue to expose.

With what I have reported and what is now becoming known, the suggestion that Abu Dhabi investors are prime suspects in land development financing in Glendale is becoming more prominent, and perhaps to be soon crystal clear.

Search this site for any information on the above to further research why I am going down this road. You too will likely start seeing the same connection I am seeing.

Johnny come lately

Wait folks, we have international peace talks that tend to be tied into the deals of America, and potential Arab investment in America’s infrastructure. At least that’s what appears as we delve deeper into the activities of Mubadala  (growing by leaps and bounds) and Related Companies, and the powerful in America making deals with those from Abu Dhabi. Read on…..

netanyahu and abbas together

Get along my friends!

Could this be fueling, in part, the direction of the current talks?

What got me thinking?

Someone from the John Buck Company was on the site today checking out the article on some notes on IFG.

How is John Buck (& co.) tied in with the Reinsdorf family?

Not sure, but they do have this muckety relationship.

John Buck is more tied in with Mubadala, who has interest in Related  Companies, and has much in common that way to a mutual friend of Reinsdorf, namely Dell.

Come to think of it, how exactly did MSD Capital come to the financial rescue of the Coyotes anyhow? Doesn’t that seem a little odd unto itself? And how about those strangehold loan terms?

There is a connection worth taking a longer look, so let’s…

The big boys are all teaming up with Related, and the friendship is getting tight.

Mubadala  became  involved  with John Buck, by, in 2008, forming John Buck International.

Mubadala also has a 17% stake in ALDAR Properties, Abu Dhabi’s largest real estate development company, as well as stakes in New York-based Related Companies and has entered into a partnership with Asia’s largest real estate group, CapitaLand.

Privately-held, TJBC brings decades of expertise to John Buck International having developed over 28 million square feet of premium commercial space across the United States.

Remember, Related Companies was bought into as well by Michael Dell, and was part of the CityNorth fiasco in Phoenix.

And the intertwining gets moreso, as Mubadala is a computer component supplier of, you guessed it, Dell:

A large chunk of MSD’s real estate action occurs through Related Companies, a development firm with claims on a number of prominent properties. In 2007, MSD Capital, Goldman Sachs and Mubadala Development pumped $1.4 billion into Related. Mubadala is also a large investor in Advanced Micro Devices, one of Dell’s main chip suppliers.

But the real bacon is in land development as the computer industry takes a beating.

And not surprisingly Related started out with government projects:

Founded as Related Housing Companies in 1972 by Stephen M. Ross, the company began by developing government assisted housing developments

Government certainly continues to be a boon for developers it seems.

We also had the City of Phoenix on the site the other day checking out why the taxpayers of Glendale deserve full disclosure of the hockey team’s impact on the city.

Okay, so Mubadala with ties to Related Companies in Phoenix’ CityNorth, and part owner of John Buck International, and checking out the situation with Reinsdorf’s IFG and Glendale?

Right….

How related to the situation is Related Companies anyhow?

How tied into the United Arab Emirates is the U.S., where Obama would not apparently make eye contact with Netanyahu, but was having a gay ol’ time with Abbas?:

Abbas and Obama

Abbas and Obama

Not so with that bloody terrorist Abbas, hatchet man for terror-master AIDS riddled pedophile Yasser Arafat.

Where is this going? No idea.

What does it have to do with hockey? No idea again.

All I know is there are an awful lot of American reasons to support the money from the Arabs when it comes to what we have just read.

Abu Dhabi and the millions of reasons to form development alliances? And according to the New York Times, it has become significant.

“Such riches, coupled with the more-aggressive stance being taken by ADIA and other sovereign funds, has raised concern that these investors will wield their wealth for political as well as financial reasons.”

….Known as ADIA (pronounced ah-DEE-ah), the fund recently formed a small team that is now buying big stakes in Western companies. This unit masterminded ADIA’s $7.5 billion investment in Citigroup, the largest U.S. bank, in November (2008). It has also taken a large position in Toll Brothers, one of America’s biggest home builders.

Even those in government have questioned some questionable power plays, especially related to Citigroup:

Several in the U.S. Congress have demanded closer scrutiny of these firms, their practices, and their tax status. Yet many of these investments, such as Abu Dhabi’s stake in Citigroup, came at crucial times, when little other financing was available, to help stabilize firms in tough financial straits.

Mubadala was also mentioned with ties to the ever growing Carlyle Group, that so many prominent U.S. names are attached to. That will definitely be worth a future look (check this Amazon.com review of an interesting book written by another guy named Craig (Unger)).

When you are a country in economic trouble as the U.S. currently is, you sure could use continuing support of those Arab rich guys that are buying into your country in a big way!

And what is the problem? Well, just like private corporations “owning” the government of states like Arizona with infrastructure, what happens when foreign interests take over those corporations? Speaking of Abu Dhabi’s spending spree (2008):

Details about the true extent of its assets are scarce and its nearly impenetrable cloak of secrecy has fueled suspicions about the government’s intentions. News of sovereign wealth funds looking to purchase stakes in U.S. firms has prompted fears in some quarters that foreign investors might be seeking to quietly take over companies or to purchase influence.

Cloak of secrecy? Sounds like the secret of who holds those arena bonds, doesn’t it?

Politics and economics at it’s finest.

Let me guess, the land development subsidies will somehow get miraculously overturned and be back on track for Related and others?

Just sayin’…….(gulp)

Could it be the infrastructure growth of America and the development in Arizona is like a loose thread? Pull it, and you start to unravel a bigger issue?

The next thing we might find out is a rich Arab guy holds the secretive Jobing.com arena bonds! The way this has played out it wouldn’t surprise me, and in fact it would lend itself to explaining why so many can’t seem to get their jobs done, including a certain judge in Glendale. The ultimate ruling could have been made in a week after the case started, and the outcome smells of politics

Politics and hockey mixing in a “different” way perhaps?

And when you have two friends of Reinsdorf both with ties to Mubadala and Related Companies, and tied in with land development subsidies, what are the odds that Reinsdorf is the favorite to assume whatever comes of the Phoenix Coyotes?

When there is lots at stake in keeping these issues hush hush, a court may be manipulated and so can others to position an asset where it needs to go.

Just seems strange that’s all. Well, doesn’t it?

Why did you have to come along Johnny? Could of saved me a whole lot of info I really didn’t want to see.
