Choose a side, scum!

Oh, suck it up slave! We don’t want to listen to your “middle class” sniveling.

Violated? You ain’t seen nothing yet anarchist!

But thanks for showing up to the “show” because without you, we’d have looked pretty stupid.

Bob, did you get me throwing that scum in the back of the van? Do you think lots of people filmed it? Yeah, do you think it will end up all over you tube? Go viral? Awesome! Yeah, I pounded that slave, that conspiracy whackjob! Whoohoo!

Yeah, but Phil, did you catch how I hit the gas and sped away. Too bad that van didn’t have more power or I could have left some tread on the street. That would have looked cooler.

Canada, you have a choice. You can decide that you are okay, the rest are not, or you could decide you are no better than the rest of those losing wealth, with too much time on their hands.

“Those people” tend to drift to the internet to see what the heck happened. And with all that investigation, they get their minds all filled with knowledge and facts, and other nasty things. Then, they form an opinion, perhaps have waves of what they call “revelation”, and then they get a glazed look in their eyes.

Kind of like the Return of the Living Dead movies.

The Black Bloc in a show where the phone rings in the ambulance and the zombie says, “Send more Paramedics”. Yep, they’ve gone mad. Gotta stop ‘em zombie conspiracy dudes. More jails to contain these ‘problems’.

So choose Canada. Support the filling of the new jails that are to be built by our P.M. and his new majority or don’t.

And hang in there if your neighbor turns conspiracy zombie too. Don’t let it get to you. Hang on as long as you can.

This is a game, and whether you like it or not you are a player. But they need you to keep turning a blind eye to those that become whacky, and remember, they deserve what they get.

Harper wants to build more jails: Whoopie!

If you build it, they will come. If you build it, you will make sure you fill it. And, unfortunately, there is a new revelation that crime will be on the rise. The question is, what kind of crime? Is it time to make thought the new taboo worth being locked up for?

Go away conspiracy theorist!

Sure, you might have read the recent article in the May 23rd, 2011 edition of Maclean’s Magazine, on bin Laden and the ‘Culture of Conspiracy’. Ewwwww… which side are you on “Conspiracy Theorist“?

They’ll scrap the long-gun registry, and sign on for 65 F-35 fighter jets, and build a lot more jails.

Don’t question that move Canadian, unless you want to be a conspiracy theorist. Our leader has his majority now, so accept it, do not question, and hope all is good for a long, long time.

Obvious which side Maclean’s is on. But don’t let me tell you what to believe you conspiracy theorist, you dirtbag. You  who has lost your mind, perhaps your marriage, and is living now on donations! Don’t let me tell you what is politically correct, and what the majority is thinking; and if you think that way you must be becoming paranoid. No, don’t let me sway your decision to have a right to look into evidence and form an opinion.

Just know one thing conspiracy theorist – -what we want you to know — the moment, yes the very moment you start to pay attention to things around here that challenge the government or the governments of the world, and the very second you think for a milisec that the government may not tell you 100% truth, you are, dare I say, a full-fledged, whackjob conspiracy theorist! Okay?

Don’t pay attention to the fact that Anwar al_Awlaki dined at the Pentagon shortly after 9/11. Forget that, conspiracy theorist, and just tune-in to when the media says he is a huge threat, and Canadians are a threat too if they have any business with him. The Pentagon? Forget it, they are okay because they are the Pentagon. They are allowed to give the guy a dinner. If you did it – -  terrorist!

Don’t for God’s sake, look into the idea that al-Qaeda is a CIA creation. That would lead to more thought. And thought, well, that gets you into trouble my friend.

The key to staying in good stead is to not pay attention to anything except the official stories the governments tell you. Then you will be politically correct, stay off the watch lists, and not be a conspiracy theorist.

So go ahead, read the article in Macleans magazine  on the Culture of Conspiracy  (sorry, not yet available online!), and if you are smart, you will snub your nose at those that have gone from father, mother, architect, military official, doctor, and all other walks of “normal” life to the dark side. Yes, that’s what we’re talking about, the dark side of becoming a conspiracy theorist, because that explains the state of crazy mind of anyone that doesn’t believe that the government is good, and caring, and looking out for you. Remember the words of Glenn Beck, you are not one of those are you?

They are so caring that the Harper government is going to build more jails as a primary initiative now that most Canadians were trusting enough to vote for him, and give him the control he needs to implement that decision.

But when you starve the education system and the kinds of supports that build healthy families (definitely the first things chopped under conservative or right-wing governments) you’re going to get more social problems.

And while Dalton McGuinty has washed his hands of guilt for the injustice to Canadians rallying in protest to the banking system at the G20 meeting, McGuinty was quick to point to Harper. Hmm, the very same Harper that wants to build more jails. Hmmm, well what about more funding for student loans, healthcare, other things good for the Canadians that trust him? No, sorry folks, more jails is the priority.

And how did I know he wants to build more jails for the nasties in Canada?

Well, that’s easy, I read that article in Maclean’s before reading why a conspiracy theorist has lost his mind.

I just have one question and one worry. If I say Harper wants to build more jails, does that make me a conspiracy theorist?

And, I don’t know if this makes me a conspiracy theorist, but I do agree with the words eloquently pointed out:

So you need to build more jails. And if you build more jails, you need to find some way to fill them. Did you know the US spends more on jails than it does on education? That the state of California in the last decade laid off 10,000 teachers but hired 10,000 more prison guards?

Golly, and as I try not to think the way of the nasty conspiracy theorist, I can’t help but drift back into thinking that the article telling us it is dangerous politics to challenge a government, your government; that there is a chance that the new criminal may be a criminal of the mind — a thought criminal.

And, those thought criminals would not be cold blooded, maximum security types, but they could be the types that would have protested the “new world” as Harper has told us, that Canada has to give up it’s sovereignty because that’s just the way the world is now. What was that again? A global reality? Something like that.

Well, I can certainly see where a media source like Maclean’s would have to paint a picture of the new, low risk criminal worthy of jail space.

Those conspiracy theorists that pose a threat to government, who challenge the leaders whether they are truthful or not.

And remember, Maclean’s would like you to believe they are as “fair and balanced” as Fox News in the U.S.. Yep, they have not reported with a negative spin on conspiracy theorists before, nope, not a chance. Nope, they make sure they give you the facts without trying to shape your opinion with various hit pieces over time. Because, if they did that, they would be challenged on their motives, and might be questioned on who they serve.

Those nasty conspiracy theorists might form a group called people for media truth or some such thing.

Don’t question media Canada, no more so than questioning government. Take both as 100% gospel truth. And, those jails you will simply drive by, not occupy.

And that would go double for journalists turned conspiracy theorists that don’t buy everything the government tells them too. Too bad, they could have been a contenda!

I wonder if some reporters for Maclean’s were treated poorly at the G20 too. Just wondering, because they may be creating a nightmare for themselves too. Just a thought.

Harper’s new BLOC

Seemed crazy it did that the Bloc Québécois wanted to get elected in the national elections in order to separate Quebec from Canada. Ridiculous you might say. Of course, they never got their way, largely because they made no bones about their agenda. Their mandate never seemed to make any sense. But don’t let their confused honesty fool you. The world of politics in Canada is far from what most believe.

We all knew using a national election for provincial needs was ludicrous. But what about using a national election to further the cause of globalization and complete lack of democracy? Would that be any nuttier?

Harper used the promise of sovereignty to win a majority in this election. The problem is, he has repeatedly told Canada we have no real sovereignty.

But, the only way he was to ensure a majority and  win the national election in Canada was to appear patriotic. Wave the flag, even though your past actions have suggested Canada should be patriotic, at the same time as telling Canada that there is a new reality; that Canada is part of a global economy; a reality that means we have to give up our sovereignty.

Now, had Stephen Harper been as brazen as the Bloc in Quebec, he might have come out and said that he wants Canada to give up it’s sovereignty and join a North American Union, leading to the new global government model when enough pain has been dished out. And that would be a bottom line of losing our political process, to go the way of the European Union, where democracy has been replaced by a “corporate-like” autocracy.

There are no true democratic elections to decide the leaders in Europe, it is simply a board of directors appointing their lackies to follow the bigger agenda, regardless if the people want it or not.

Would Harper have gone by way of Iggy and the Liberals if presented his platform that way?

Now, let’s look at a film that is well done, and well worth the two hours it will take to watch. It’s called the Global Hostile Takeover, and it paints a picture based on fact that irrefutably brings home the mission that has transcended party lines, countries, and perceived differences.

It shows a mission that may make you have that ah ha moment when you realize they are taking away our prosperity, and shaking the foundation of our security with the resurrection of the Al-Qaeda threat.

All part of creating the two problems before they roll out the solution. The first, your prosperity and financial wealth is under attack. Second, your safety will be challenged with the promise of more terror attacks. Goodbye security.

Hence, the Security and Prosperity Partnership rolled out in Canada first by Paul Martin, and then furthered by Harper with Bush’s support, not to mention Mexico, was designed as the solution to the created problems that we are witnessing today. Boy, they sure knew what was coming, didn’t they?

It may leave you wondering if those conspiracy people had a point after all. When they told you of the problem-reaction-solution nature of the globalists ploy to create problems, watch the people squirm, and then come in as the heroes, you might realize that the events that have taken place the world over are absolutely no random acts – - oh the contraire — this has all been planned a long time ago, and is just being unraveled as we watch the horror of the globalists’ current panic.

The bin Laden hoax has had many lies and inconsistencies and backtracking to cover lies. It is horrifying not so much because it is a government caught in a lie, but what it represents and clarifies.

The Bush Administration working with the current Obama Administration, working with leaders the world over to support a lie, to further wars and occupations; to give excuse to get at Pakistan, and one step closer to disaster.

The bin Laden “going for broke” announcement is the globalists playing the joker card, and proving there is no turning back now. The Jeannie is out of the bottle, the full circle effect of 9/11 is going to give some more people the realization that the globalists pulled off 9/11, the ensuing Patriot Act, and are part of something purely sinister.

But if you haven’t got the big picture yet, here’s a great place to start:

Olsen: “When did the Constitution become negotiable?”

What does Charlie Sheen and “Winning” have to do with Canadians wanting more hockey? Read on my friends…..Dos Equis or not!

Gotta love it, eh?

Canada, you are getting a taste now why hockey in Glendale has always been a political battle. And my theory is that there are investors in Abu Dhabi that have become a nightmare for the City of Glendale. Attached to them are the names that put the investors in touch, so to speak, with “the deal”, and they are all hoping the big penalty doesn’t come in to play. And no, it’s not even close to a game misconduct, far worse in fact. The game misconduct is in not providing the game of usury debt streams.

If it were not a political battle then, as argued before, this case would have been over a long time ago.

My daughter likes to blurt regularly, “Get over yourself”, whenever someone seems a little self righteous. And when I hear people tell us they have “told us” something many times before I agree with her. That’s what will make this situation and the far out angle we have taken come home to roost. So, excuse me for rubbing it in here shortly.

If indeed this was a pure battle of what makes the most economic hockey sense from a pure profit angle, Jim Balsillie would be putting the finishing touches on the new state of the art arena. The only issue would probably have been what to name the arena. Do we change it from Copps to RIM, or something else? What a dilemma that would be. The problem du jour would be a whole lot different than where we are today. Canadians you could simply keep focused on what you always wanted to focus on coming to makeiteighteh.com – - talk on the Coyotes and giving you the trash on the corruption. You could come looking for any dirt that would suggest Hamilton, or Winnipeg, or Quebec might get hockey back.

And worst of all, you might still be thinking if we don’t piss off Gary Bettman, we may actually get him to see Canada as a deserving place to put more hockey. Be good fellow Canucks, Gary seems to be happy about Canada today! Don’t rock the boat. Phewie! Wake up! It’s time to tip the boat over because it has a leak caused by years of corruption. The same corruption that has taken over the U.S. government and is trashing that Constitution!

When Gary Bettman asked who the Goldwater Institute answers to, he might as well have said, “Didn’t they get the memo on the new economy?” Who do they answer to indeed! Wow! Some entity not in on the taxpayer wealth stripping party! Absurd!

I am going to insert a very loaded interview between Brahm Resnik who is a broadcaster in Phoenix, but first and foremost a Canadian. He is interviewing Darcy Olsen of the Goldwater Institute that has the Constitution of the United States of America on her side. And, in a country where the current White House Administration views the Constitution as a thorn in the side of the real agenda, she is a refreshing change of pace from Corruption Incorporated. You know Brahm as the man with the twitter account who, like a gracious Canadian, answers everybody!

He even answered a good friend of mine that wrote an article for this site way back when that showed some detail about the Jobing.com bond issue – - a bubble within a bubble. Eloquently put I would say. Unfortunately Resnik  at the outset commented to him that there didn’t seem to be a point. I wonder if he would care to reread it now and see if that opinion has changed, In fact why don’t you all read it again and see the points made that are suddenly becoming significant. The bubble within a bubble – - the economic sell out of Glendale.

What are the new sky is falling numbers out of Glendale’s City Hall – - $500 million and complete collapse? Why? Really? Forty home dates of hockey is going to impact a City putting in a Casino and can increase concerts? Something is not right. Where’s the real deal Glendale? Who is holding your City hostage? Why is Gary Bettman really bending over backward to spare an embarrassment that will make Jerry Moyes’ pale in comparison?

In this interview, I love the fact that Olsen points out to Resnik that although hockey is important to many, there is the case against pulling the plug on Grandma that they are involved with that is challenging the U.S. Healthcare reform. Sorry Canada, that is a little more important!  Here’s where I insert my own shameless plug, proving I am a hypocrite when I say that I hate self-promotion.

And where did my article end up? Infowars.com and the leader of the battle against the attack on that nasty Constitution.

That’s right, you may have heard of Alex Jones, if at no other time than on the View with Barbara Walters, as she was ready to blow a gasket. You see, Jones wanted to cram in as much stuff on the bad things that have been done to Americans and the Constitution that he took every opportunity to tell us all about “building 7″ in New York on 9/11, the killing of innocent Iraqis during the war on the weapons of mass destruction, and on and on. Whoopie Goldberg looked like she was taking downers for a change, trying to get Jones to slow down. It was a crazy few minutes, but a victory and a way to further the Charlie Sheen cause .

Is it any wonder Sheen is basking in the glory of destroying the New World Order and is as popular as ever for the campaign of “Winning”? The next time you watch Saturday Night Live try to separate the attack from the humor and you will see something far from funny. The system controlled by mainstream media is scared, and they are threatened.

You must excuse Charlie for looking disturbed and overcoming substance abuse. Anyone who has come from that place and is still effective at bringing attention to the issues of the day is brilliant. It is an interesting dilemma – - do you look at Charlie the man and say he is at this time a little off, or do you look at the bigger picture and agenda, and realize he truly is winning? And by winning, again, we mean drawing attention to supporting the Constitution, peoples’ rights, and freedom. Or, did you miss the whole point? He may come across as the madman across the water, but the point is the people across the water want to hear him.

When Whoopie Goldberg said she wanted to figure out what was happening with Charlie, they should have let Alex Jones have an hour to explain that Sheen’s problems happened when he wanted 20 minutes with the President. In fairness, if the system wanted to vilify you, you’d go a little nuts too!

So hockey, right?

Point is, hockey and politics, and the U.S. Constitution is all in focus. The Coyotes in Phoenix and the other NHL teams are all affected by corruption and taxpayer abuse by a sports league that is no different than the rest. John McCain has come forward to support the Coyotes because of political issues. We have seen a lot on this site, and we have shown a glimmer of those over time to you here. We have seen the politics, the ties to land developers, and we have seen the game within the game.

When we realize that the game of hockey has been held hostage to land developers and financiers, we will look at the next bubble within a bubble coming to Edmonton right now, and see it for what it really is. Edmonton is being held hostage by the “convenient excuse” that the taxpayers should own the arena, just like in Glendale. The real reason is because the taxes are guaranteed to those behind the financing, and they can score many times the value of the arena in interest payments over time.

Glendale saying that their economy will collapse makes no sense to anyone on the surface. It’s what you cannot see that is the issue. Will we let it become the issue in Edmonton too? Are they the replacement cash cow?

Will we, as Canadians think we are living in a protective bubble, where Stephen Harper is not part of the Club? We have looked at him too here on this site.

It’s time to realize hockey is politically driven. It’s time to join the party and start winning too.

When Resnik asked Olsen if Canadians were making contributions to the Goldwater Institute’s battle against the case for keeping the team in Glendale, it made me laugh.

It made Olsen laugh too.

As an issue for a Canadian like Resnik who really knows better because of his political analysis agenda, it shows that there has always been a more important mission. It has been a mission of human rights and freedoms. It’s all about a bigger issue of righteousness! It’s about people having rights. Like Jerry Moyes! Remember him? The man served proxies instead of compassion?

When are we going to understand there are bigger issues than hockey? And you can’t just throw money at that! In short, any Canadians who think throwing money at the Goldwater Institute will motivate them more to take on the NHL had better “get over themselves”!

It’s about WINNING!…. DUH! Winning the big picture not the little hockey picture!

While Darcy Olsen does it the politically correct way,  Charlie Sheen lets it all hang out – -  what’s the difference?  He is in essence saying the heck with all things politically correct because politics is corrupt people!  They built him up and gave him power and now he is turning the machine against themselves- – a stroke of brilliance!

Who does he need to answer to? Nobody! Who does Goldwater need to answer to — normal everyday people fed up with the system of taxpayer abuse. So, Mr. Bettman, I hope that clarifies things a little bit. After all, you did want to know who Goldwater is accountable to.

It’s all about loving the preserving of human rights! It’s about upholding the Constitution that represents those rights. And in Canada, we need to pay careful attention too.

A man’s actions define him. Sheen is overcoming all odds to show just how intelligent he is. Playing the nutbar to bring attention to himself to further the bigger issues.

If Lindsay Lohan’s drinking can bring her fame and attention, Sheen is getting more than 20 minutes with the world. Why bother trying to influence the President when you are more popular than Obama? Refreshing and fresh! Free and carefree! Liberated and fanciful!

So thank you Charlie Sheen for taking your popularity to a meaningful level, despite what they are trying to do to you! Oh, and Darcy and the Goldwater Institute: Many thanks as well.

And with Charlie Sheen’s popularity hitting an all-time high, there is something about him that attracts people. Perhaps it is the underlying truth! Maybe he should have this to say, being “the most popular man in the world”,

” Stay thirsty for the truth my friends!”

The battle over the Coyotes reflects all that is wrong with the World

In the new global economy, sovereignty is gone, protection is a twisted concept, and Protectionism is taboo

Wimpy: "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today"

Yes, this is a story of the Phoenix Coyotes hockey team.

The team whose name it was suggested should be changed to the Glendale Coyotes if it were to be sold, to give it a truer name. After all, it was no longer located in Phoenix – it was for the last several years in Glendale.

Canadians are looking upon the disaster in the U.S. economy with similar “distance”. Yeah, it’s really too bad the Americans are having a hard time. Good thing we live in Canada.

And, did you happen to catch President Obama’s State of the Union address last night? I haven’t yet, but I read a short recap. He has “challenged” business to step it up in “some way”. At this point it’s all just watching his lips move, and hearing sound come out, because it’s all hooey isn’t it?

I get around on my job. I can’t believe what I am hearing lately. We in Canada get it more than I thought. We could be waking up too.

Perhaps we are not like Glendale saying how great they are for hockey compared to Phoenix. Glendale must be safer, being so much further removed from the Mexican drug wars. Or is it, I don’t know.

Kind of silly if you ask me. Silly because nobody is going to escape what is happening globally, not just locally.

Europeans are feeling the heat. They are rioting. Politicians in charge keep flapping their lips the world over, and sound comes out of their mouths. But their talk does not match the reality of what we see, backed up by the gut feeling we have that something is really not right.

Hockey isn’t right unfortunately for the people of Phoenix, er excuse me, Glendale. Unfortunate but true.

The entire region is a reflection of what is inevitable unless we as North Americans, and global citizens step to the plate and stand for the rights and safety of our neighbors – whether they are in the next City, the next Province/State, or the next country, continent, or timezone.

It’s thinking that we somehow will not be affected and we are more deserving because we are better prepared to take care of the spoils than our “unfortunate” neighbour.

Winnipeg may be in a better position to take on the Coyotes, or Thrashers, or whichever team for now, as the country known as the U.S. enters the result of what the corrupt in government have directed as puppets. Behind the scenes pulling the strings of the talking head politicians are the  the elite looking to destroy the people, their rights, their freedoms, and their borders.

While the elite have cleared out to South America, China, and other remote places, they didn’t bother to tell anyone they also left the system of lies for the rest of us. While they invest in hard assets like gold and silver (and buy land over water aquifers), they direct the media they control to tell us the stock markets are fine, and don’t pay attention to the rumors that hyperinflation is a heartbeat away. No, they want to ensure more of us are left high and dry when the sudden collapse of the empire takes place. Isn’t that right, Mr. Ferguson?

I think I can here Wimpy, only instead of hamburgers, let’s look at the futures contracts accumulating for March in the silver markets. Put off to tomorrow instead of facing the music today. Even the Gold futures suggest at least a 20 to 25% gain to December. We all know with the QE2, and beyond, that doesn’t even factor in the panic buying that will inevitably take place.

How long will the words of Stephen Harper be insignificant words, where his lips flapped, and sound came out, until we realize we should have questioned those words, sentences, and phrases?

How long will it be before we realize that they are slipping an agenda by us as we continue to sleep?  Like a post- hypnotic suggestion our psyche is yelling – “Hello, danger, danger”. Yeah, something doesn’t feel right, because something just isn’t right. It’s not about butterflies for crying out loud!

Obama’s lips will continue to move, and sound will come out – - all the while supporting Mexican trade and co-operation, even though the war further invades American soil.

Obama will continue to bow to world leaders such as China, as they come and play piano concertos that include how great their victory over America is.

While they tell us that it is a global economy, they tell us to not even trust our neighbours because they could be terrorists. While global should mean free movement, they are installing full naked body scanners at airports, suggesting that mere travel is hazardous.

They are isolating us more, while telling us to branch out to the world.

How will they pull off selling us this conflict in ideas, and get us to agree to whatever it is they are trying to accomplish?

Well, doesn’t hockey bring the answer again.

If you have any experience with kids hockey you might have experience with the ever-challenging “rep tryout” process. The kids and the parents act very accommodating to the powers that decide if the kid makes the team or not, don’t they?

I don’t think I will ever forget the suggestion from a coach that said it plainly. As long as you don’t cut my kid, sorry about the luck of the others.

The suggestion is that parents, kids, and people in general will sacrifice standing up for the rights of others if it means they get spared themselves. Sad yes. True – unfortunately yes.

The powers in the world have known this for years. Hitler was a master at ensuring this process started with a few targets, and eventually it didn’t matter who was put “on the train”. It was all just a process to see who would buy the propaganda, and how easily manipulated the people would be. And, we know they were.

Glendale needs to understand that their town is not immune to the turmoil in Arizona that is affecting Phoenix. Winnipeg needs to understand that the spoils of NHL hockey is because a global neighbour has suffered greatly, and the spoils will be short lived if we are willing to turn our backs on the injustice.

Eventually this infection will affect us all. It already has.

It’s time to challenge the politicians whose lips move, and sounds come out for what this really is. It’s time to wonder why there are telescreens in Wal-Marts suggesting Americans should spy on their American neighbours while Obama ignores the threat of drug wars blatantly crossing Mexico into Arizona. It doesn’t add up.

If we opened our eyes to reality, the pictures might have underlying words that paint a story far removed from what they are telling us.

The greatest collapse won’t have taken place on the ice in Buffalo

Okay, I want Canada, the U.S. and the free world to get a serious grip right now.

Yes, we were stunned by the Russian sudden comeback in the third period of the Junior Gold Medal game, and the collapse was the greatest ever seen in junior hockey.

Okay, this is hockey, and Canada’s game.

But I want to draw attention to what should be the channeling of our frustration.

Canada might feel ripped off right now that our hockey liberties have been stripped, that’s true. Maddening isn’t it? Sudden, wasn’t it? Hard to believe, eh?

For the last long while, this site has switched from the injustice of losing a seventh and eighth NHL team, that enraged at least those of us in the Hamilton area. As for the rest of Canada, I’m not so sure.

But what is important is the reason we will not likely see NHL hockey anytime soon. The reason is foreign investment in the new world of sports, that mirrors the foreign control of our countries in the New World Economic Order, also simply known as the New World Order.

We can channel our frustration and the sudden devastation to realize there could be another devastating collapse of greater significance – and that will be the collapse of the economies of the United States and Canada, as is happening in Europe right now.

We have been taken for a financial ride from the time most of our pensions and investments took a 40 to 50% hit not long ago, as it was tied into the derivative scam instigated by the corrupt elite, who control the banking cartel.

Oh, they are sharp. They are well-organized. And they are capable of pulling the plug on the economy which, when it comes, it will leave us with our mouthes hanging open.

The hockey loss we will get over much easier, as hard as it may seem.

If you want a new cause to waive the Canadian flag, take this year to get informed of the injustice that is being imposed on us all.

And ask Mr. Harper our Prime Minister why  exactly it is we need to give up our sovereignty.

2009: The continued suggestion that sovereignty is for sale

2010: Let’s make this a little clearer now, shall we?

Inter-financial affairs are one thing that should NOT include loss of sovereignty.

What does a global trading reality have to do with interlinked banking systems that, by association, is linked to  sovereignty? This sounds very shady indeed! But, no shadier than the way they signed a secret agreement for the prosperity arrangement that is leading to the North American Union.

While Janet Napolitano has video feeds at Wal Mart stores urging to “see something, say something”, we have open Mexican borders that have led to abductions and murders, and has sheriffs begging for help to seal the borders. This is a huge conflict in the so called homeland security issues, and further supports the reality that it is the citizens in the U.S. and Canada that are losing rights and freedoms, and are the big targets of the government and its military.

Our identity as a nation, and our rights and freedoms have nothing to do with the global economy. But the sad reality as evidenced by the prorogue of Parliament and the G20 marshall law (police) state paints a much different story – a story that fits a loss of freedoms.

Make no mistake, this is the greatest injustice that Canada will ever see.

It’s the bankers or us

They are using a completely corrupt banking system to strip us of our rights and freedoms, and if you don’t believe me, try to remember the G20 fiasco in Toronto! We as Canadians are not immune, and are part of the problem.

Look also to the Canadian bank representation at Bilderberg this year to prove it further.

It truly is the bankers or us!

The G20 riot was a mere show. The participants in the damage are questionable, as it is a proven fact that governments use certain factions and undercover police to pretend to be militant groups. This serves to justify the expenditure on security expenses that are most often given to the fat cat friends that monopolize the industry. Ask why security is one of the top industries left in the U.S. today.

The injustice to the average Canadian that was in the vicinity of the G20 meetings in Toronto was absolutely abhorrent. The jails were inhumane, and the show of power the obvious mission.

The message was to not mess with the bankers that will overtake our society, and strip us of our identities and freedoms.

Our loss of sovereignty is not worth it — Bring back protectionism if it means we retain our rights, freedoms, and identity. And what is the worst that could happen? We create jobs for Canadians that have been lost offshore?

Watch the Ivy, Canada: You don’t want our Universities going the way of Harvard

Ivy league, eh?

Wow, what a goal, and what an aspiration.

Hold on. What you see is not necessarily a good thing.

We are starting to see a push in Canadian Universities, recently being fought against at the University of Western Ontario at London, Ontario, and at Carleton University in Ottawa. The issues are key. The resistance important. The players are the faculty, and I would hope the students supporting the faculty to keep education real, meaningful, and outside of external influence and control.

Because, if the province is able to tether professor tenure then we in Canada will go by way of political retooling – where reality does not meet training; where the rubber of true thought isn’t allowed to meet the road of resistance and free thought.

As in our last article pointing out the resistance of Professors at Western University, the Orwellian State may be closer than we think. Our desire to have our children  get an ivy league education may have been a marketing smokescreen.

President Barack Obama was granted the Nobel Peace Prize but he hadn’t even done anything to deserve it.

Nobel officials said their stunning pick was meant to build momentum behind Obama’s initiatives to reduce nuclear arms, ease tensions with the Muslim world and stress diplomacy and cooperation rather than unilateralism.

So the Peace Prize is a political tool to support a direction or motive, but not for work already done? To shape agenda by rewarding behavior? The Nobel Prize therefore is nothing more than a tool of propaganda ; now just a means to effect a political end, and to shape public perception of both the desired agenda and to give credence and support to the recipient.

President Barack Obama has become the chosen one, while at the same time waning in popularity at home. I guess that’s okay if you know the world is your oyster; if you are aware your future has been laid out for you like the Nobel Prize before it is deserved. And, we wonder why the Republican campaign is taking aim at Obama the elitist? The Nobel Prize is just a measure of who is the New World Order golden boy of the moment.

What does this have to do with education? Why the talk about the “elitist” Obama, and the Nobel Prize that supports the facade of greatness?

It applies in another setting – that of the credibility and stature of leading the sheeple of society to aspire to the echelons of the highest learning possible. What university stands out as one of the elite? Which rings the bell of Ivy League stature? Harvard.

We probably don’t know why Harvard is mentioned as a place where the aspiring young adult can find the world waiting to be had, if only he can get to the Ivy League education the system of education would have us believe exists there. In truth, education is a combination of desirable environment, including the professors and the curriculum to promote the freedom to explore the universe. Hence the term university. It’s meant to be an experience not a sales forum.

Have universities been kept free of political influence? Or, have they been tainted by  political agendas, and the administrators and faculty moulded to effect elitist will and support political goals?

Like the branding of a president with a Nobel Peace Prize to effect a desired outcome, universities may shape young minds, but not in a desirable way.

And so, would universities such as Harvard be breeding grounds to give credibility to a direction of education that can surpass the hallowed halls of learning, and enter the mainstream media, influencing the world as a whole – economically and politically? The answer is yes. Yes, it can, yes it will, and yes it has.

One could argue that the current political shapings of society and world-view are supported by the very professors that shape our youth as they enter the “elite” roles the world has waiting for the Ivy Leaguers.

We have talked about some of that influence already when we looked at Martin Feldstein and Niall Ferguson, both very influential Harvard Professors. Their agendas –  that of Bilderberg.

Now, you may have heard of Harvard, and Ivy League, and you can be forgiven if you have not heard about Bilderberg. Suffice it to say, it’s time to put mainstream media aside, and to get an alter-education into the control grid awaiting you. You will not walk away from this education without a sort of disdain for culture as you might have known it. The journey to a new level of awareness and truth will become an obsession in all likelihood. And the way you view the world will forever change.

So, it’s quite easy to view the moves in Ontario Universities to push an agenda that seems to have similar roots.

Why, at Western University, did they push for the neo-con Ann Coulter to visit, where she brashly put our country down not long ago?:

“They better hope the United States doesn’t roll over one night and crush them,” she said onHannity & Colmes in 2004. “They’re lucky they’re allowed to be on the same continent as the United States.”

Or worse, why she was allowed to insult a Muslim student in front of her peers:

On second thought, perhaps the University of Ottawa President who felt bad for Coulter should allow her to come back – but this time – it’s open, politically correct season to let the students tell her exactly what they think of her poor taste, low-class, hate speech disguised as “free speech”. I would say, with all sincerity, that I have full confidence that the students of Ottawa University could teach her a thing or two, and the engagement – let’s just say –  would be well worth the cover charge.

The classic  question for these universities has to be: “Who invited her?”

The tainted, political activist in me that does not see the new world with rosy (O’Donnell) covered glasses sees a different pattern of reasoning emerging. Where do the Presidents of these universities get their bacon and funding from – politicians in Ottawa? Of course.

So if there were elitist agendas to promote the “official story of 9/11″,  to blame 9/11 on Bin Laden and other Muslims, and to the support of the war effort, it would be well served by promoting a visit from the not hard to look at, but hard to swallow likes of Ann Coulter. And, because most young men at universities are into beer and broads, it could easily be construed that they might be influenced by a shapely fembot. No room to suppose intellect and knowing what in the world is happening here I suppose. I don’t know, I would have to say it backfired, and the laughs, Annie, may have been for comedic slang, and not content. Sorry dear-y. Canada is not your oyster. Go back and tell your neo-con controllers it aint workin’ here.

That is, it would seem the vision of those parading this speaker series coast to coast. From what I understand – London, Ottawa, Calgary, and in the words of Buzz Lightyear – “and beyond”.

Political agenda to sell Canada out to a larger agenda perhaps? To shape the minds of our young, that we paid good money to send to school, to listen to this trash-talker that thinks Christianity can be bought at the barrel of a gun?

I don’t think Jesus would be too impressed. Not since, from what I know, the Muslims will be coming to Christ in large numbers with or without war.

I would be far more impressed to see a man such as Ron Paul, the true leader of the Tea Party Movement visit our schools – where issues of America including abolishing the Fed would be in primary focus. Not to mention a fresh investigation into the police state creating 9/11 issue, and the instigation of the Patriot Act to take us one step closer to an elitist run world.

The point is, if Ron Paul becomes President of the United States, he may have to call the Vatican to see who made the mode of transportation for the Pope. And, he might ask permission to use the term “Paul-mobile” when his car is made. A man that would have to live in a bubble so he doesn’t go by way of JFK.

Oh, there are issues in this world that the students at university know all too well.

It’s time to admit it, and stop trying to parade influence in front of them is a quest to support the new world order politics.

Let those taking the courses on “globalization”  run with it. Let the students tell their peers and their profs what they think of the right-stripping control that the world is trying to ram down their throats, and  what they think of the control being imposed on how the world is presented to them.

The game is over. It’s time to tell the administrators of higher learning in the United States and Canada that the students will support the professors that are standing up for freedom – the freedom to share without fear the issues of the world.

Just because it says Ivy League does not mean it is elite. No more so than the title of Nobel Prize. Unfortunately politics has shaped opinion.

I for one am proud of the professors at Universities such as Western, in London, Ontario.

And if you don’t think there is a world-wide drive to political conformism, perhaps you haven’t seen these speeches by John Howard and Stephen Harper, related to the war effort in Iraq:

Or, if you were around during the War in the Gulf, you would no doubt have not seen this piece of fabrication fashioned by CNN:

Or, to make it a little clearer!:

Who writes this stuff?

I understand there is a department in the Canadian government to address “wrong ideas” out in the blogosphere. I will await their call!

But the issue here is the bastion of freedom in education. All eyes should be watching. The world is at stake.

Postscript: Here is an interesting article that has this to add:

This “One World” order will be brought about by a shift in the political, economic, environmental, and education arenas. The political arena is crucial because of its ability to engage whole nations with the stroke of a pen. Government leaders play significant roles in making internal changes that will ultimately affect their national sovereignty. In bringing about such a new age of international cooperation, national sovereignty will have to be surrendered. Therefore, it is not surprising that President Bush went to the United Nations first in order to obtain approval for using force against Saddam Hussein. Many wonder if he now sees the U.N. Charter as more important than the U. S. Constitution. There are those who are presently calling for a constitutional convention to bring about a change in our nation’s way of governing itself.

The most expensive hockey stick will never see an arena

WWF, Global Warming and the biggest tax grab in history

If you really came to find out what the most expensive hockey stick is, give your head a shake! Find out about an issue that will make buying that “stick” impossible when they tap all the money you have! Read all about the biggest con this world will ever know……….

It’s business as usual despite the fact that “Climate Change” has been caught “green-handed”

I happened upon the Sunday Toronto Star (March 14,) and lo and behold on the backside of a first section was a full-page ad for “Earth Hour”, which takes place March 27th at 8:30 PM.

I remember this “event” last year, when it came up, and I seriously considered doing my part to turn off as many lights as possible to help the cause.

Well, I have learned a lot  in the last year.

So, you must excuse me for paying attention to the other version of news that we here in Canada and the United States don’t readily get to see – that is, unless we are looking for it; doing a little digging.

More and more of us are catching on. This might explain why mainstream media is losing ground on alternative media as people catch on to the fact that some huge issues just don’t seem to make the news grade.

Take Climate Change (aka Global Warming). There is not enough that can be said about this, trust me. Our beautiful country is my reason for the fight.

I am not talking about the need to reduce CO2 emissions, claimed responsible for trapping greenhouse gases and raising global temperatures. No.

The long and the short of it is this – the idea is hogwash!

The evidence for this is in the leaked ClimateGate emails from researchers involved that “could not take it anymore”, and had to ease their consciences.

Lord Christopher Monkton has been tracking the scam for years

The result is publications that spell it out for us, like this one – “ClimateGate: Caught Green-Handed!”

In the top picture please note the WWF crest. It caught my eye too, and like hearing Arnold Schwarzenegger wish us all seasons greetings in Hamilton (from California) at Christmas, it gave me a sick feeling. What I have been hearing is being supported with real-life events and proof.

You see, WWF is claimed to be a front for the environmentalist movement designed to control everything:

The Club of Rome, a globalist front group created in 1968, immediately began calling for population reduction under the guise of environmentalism. Other fronts like the World Wildlife Fund, managed by the aforementioned Prince Philip, vocally push for population control while seizing large swaths of land for “Mother Earth.” Other pet projects such as the Kyoto Protocol, which would give the UN total control of energy resources, have floundered.

Past WWF board members have included Bilderberg founder Prince Bernhard, Hollinger media gopher and Bilderberg member Conrad Black, Shell chairman John Loudon, King Juan Carlos of Spain, Prince Henrik of Denmark, and accused drug dealer Henry Keswick.

Red flags are soaring..

Let’s be honest, Prime Minister Harper has been under fire partly at least because folks may not be able to put their finger on it but know something is just not right.

And, If you truly feel that way – I suggest it’s time for you to dig a little (preferably a lot).

We are being scammed (and it’s gonna cost ya!)

Demand action alright!: Why we are being scammed!

Continuing on the propaganda, the above ad continues, and the caption below it reads, “Join WWF and people around the world in demanding action on climate change by turning off your lights for an hour.”

Really? I would hope the “demand” for action would be to look into the lies and deceit, and demand answers to why this scam has been rammed down our throats with all the nasty scandle put aside. And, why there is now a media blitz to sell us on the need to conserve energy. High hydro rates are incentive enough, and have driven many to do late night laundry loads – we have all the incentive we need.

No  - a poor PR  job is all this is!

What’s more important is knowing that bad stuff is often  packaged as something good.

Dec 2009: Canadians got a taste of the scam and were not impressed. Where's the continuance of the argument?

They have returned to the sales job, making sure we are not reminded of the overwhelming proof to the contrary.

After Copenhagen, the Montreal Gazette reported how Canadians were not buying it. That was in December (’09).

The angst I feel is like trying to run through Jello – frustrated because I cannot move fast enough to get the word out there. Sharing with other people there is another side to this is imperative, and the issue needs open debate.

Furthering the argument, look at this article from the Daily Mail in the UK.

The data is crucial to the famous ‘hockey stick graph’ used by climate change advocates to support the theory.

Professor Jones also conceded the possibility that the world was warmer in medieval times than nowsuggesting global warming may not be a man-made phenomenon.

And he said that for the past 15 years there has been no ‘statistically significant’ warming.

To leave this topic for a second, ask now why Obama is giving the healthcare bill an up and down vote – on the extras only – the bill itself is not the issue. Obama ramming down the throats of the American people the single largest piece of legislation and he is going to decide it on his own? Just seems to fit the mood here, doesn’t it?

The climate change push is a push for global taxation, and moving wealth from the middle class to the globalists in control. Look at the names involved in the scam and realize it’s all about big money, big payoffs, and big control:

Soros suggested that rich nations to put $100 billion of foreign-exchange reserves towards the financing of emission-reducing projects in less wealthy countries.

Back to the issue of bogus hockey sticks.

So what’s the big deal?

So, what is the big deal you might ask? So what if we need to control the temperature that we really can’t control?

So what if China gets all the industry and we lose jobs all over the world?

So what if they say it will help the poorer countries even though it will ensure more die (by the multi-millions)?

So what to it all – it hasn’t affected me, right?

If you are willing to turn off your lights for an hour, buying this scam, why not take that hour by candlelight and read what the other side has to say. What if all the “so whats” above are true?  Can you really continue to say it does not concern you?

In closing, have a look at this article  on comments  from Maurice Strong, with the headline:

The Globalist Push to Crush the Rich Nations in Preparation for Global Carbon Tax and New World Order

Maury Strong joined many of the priviledged that have helped the globalists further their cause of global control. It is no wonder he rose to the top, with much favor with world leaders in the United Nations.

There is lots of money and title if you are willing to sell out to the powerful.

It is important to note that the “green movement” will destroy industry, and will make food prices soar. When that happens the third world will starve in epidemic proportions. Millions if not billions will die as a result.

And, since  Al Gore praised Strong in 1990, that should be reason enough for concern:

In the 1990s, Al Gore heaped praise on a company called Molten Metal Technology, Inc. This company, a hazardous waste management firm, claimed to have a new technology, “a promising adaptation of steelmaking chemistry to create a closed-loop system for turning industrial wastes into chemical feedstocks.”Gore’s hype helped the company’s stock jump to $35 a share. After receiving over $25 million dollars in federal grant money from the Department of Energy, the DoE figured out that the techonology was a bust. It simply didn’t work.

Maurice Strong ran Molten Metals, and when the federal government decided to stop handing out grants, he and the other corporate officers sold off $15.3 million in personal shares of stock. The stock dropped to $5 soon afterward, but Strong had already made his money

These guys are all in the same ship; all working for the same people. It’s easy to make money when handed the priviledge and the government money.

Things aren’t always what they seem. Twisting what seems good at the peril of mankind.

Again, at what point will you want to check this out? At what stage will you question our government and its leaders, their motives and from whom they are getting direction?

Before or after it may be too late?

If you have a family don’t you owe it to them to get the information that may shape their future?

Of course they are!

More evidence of the monopolization of sport (and everything else!)

The big boys just keep getting bigger.

It’s all about power and control…. to tax the air we

breath ;control the food we eat, the  medicine we use; and censor the news we hear….

Sit back, pour a strong cup of joe, and ponder what used to be ridiculous.

I’m talking about conspiracy theories. And believe it or not, the sports leagues don’t seem to be immune – sharing  suspicious space with government and the chosen corporations.

It’s an interesting choice of  words to describe the unthinkable –  a “conspiracy theory”?

Some of you are going to say, oh no, just as we were going so well on hockey talk, here we go again with how this guy thinks it all ties together with conspiracies. Ridiculous right! Right? Funny how things come across my desk.

Looking at the visitors this morning, I had the pleasure of Abu Dhabi’s company today. And not just any company, oh no, it came from the “Crown Prince Court” (where did they go?).

Now, if you are like me, you’d have to say, who? Well, googling brings some interesting facts.

If we can digress a moment, we can go back to 2007, when

President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan

President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has issued a federal decree transferring units from Emirates Media Inc. to the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court.

It’s okay, we don’t need to pay for the whole article, that will do. After all, we can use another article to make sense of this move. Why take on the broadcasting company, Emirates Media, Inc.? We may have our answer here:

The problem for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is that it faces this future with much of its official face turned towards the past. An atmosphere of secrecy prevails, as a number of conservative, anachronistic bodies seek tight control over the flow of information. The result is to thwart efforts towards a wider liberalisation.  For many years the most maligned of these bodies was the federal ministry for information and culture, which effectively controlled all domestic newspaper and television output and the importation of all books and films into the UAE. The ministry was finally disbanded in 2006, but a number of its employees were assigned to a successor institution: the National Media Council (NMC).

Strangely sounding like the control czar in the U.S., Cass Sunstein, who is looking to turn the internet into a state run,

Cass Sunstein: I wish he gave our rights as much consideration as he does other animals!

state controlled spy network where kids will get scholarships to “keep an eye on anything remotely critical” out there in the U.S. citizenry. After all, those nasty citizens are close to terrorists, hence the need to instigate that Patriot Act. It’s actually designed to control patriots, not keep patriotism alive, don’t you know? Okay, sorry, back to the issue here.

But before we return to our welcomed guests, keep in the back of your mind our Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, who was using his entourage to control who in the media was allowed to ask a question. Yes, Mr. Harper called it something else to which I cannot recall – suffice it to say it was far removed from how the journalists saw it. Let’s leave it at that for the moment.

Our “ridiculous” conspiracy theories in general are now suggesting that Cass Sunstein and others want to control opposition in media. So, the Sheik in Abu Dhabi is not alone after all. Small world or what?

Now if we can go back again in time, to 2008, we had this reporting from (gasp) FOX NEWS, who refreshingly questioned George W. Bush:

Why is the president of the United States entertaining Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince, Sheik Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at Camp David when his own State Department has singled out the Sheik’s homeland, the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.), for its continuing violations of human rights?

It gets better, it seems George W. must have taken a shining to the whole process considering (what we already know):

“Citizens did not have the right to change their government. In some cases, security forces reportedly employed flogging as judicially sanctioned punishment. Arbitrary detention and incommunicado detention remained problems…”

“The judiciary lacked full independence. The government restricted civil liberties, including freedoms of speech, press (including the Internet), assembly, association, and religion. There were limited reports of corruption, and the government lacked transparency.”

After all, turn a blind eye or support what you believe is right. Whichever it is, of course there is that whole, rub my back I’ll rub yours aspect to it:

Abu Dhabi is one of seven oil-rich — and anti-Israel states — in the United Arab Emirates. Using its massive sovereign wealth fund of over $875 billion, Abu Dhabi has been gobbling up American assets, buying considerable stakes in U.S. businesses like Citigroup, the Carlyle Group, Advanced Micro Devices, and Toll Brother and is now bidding on the Chrysler Building.

Let’s not forget the whole Global Government or “Governance” thing, that depending on how you say it you are either worldly or a nutjob conspiracy theorist. You see “Governance” is used when “Government” scares people. Just like “Climate Change” was the replacement for “Global Warming” when someone clued in and pointed out temperatures over the past several years have been declining. And, yes, Global Government and Climate Change, if you do not like either one makes you one of us – a nasty dissident conspiracy person. For shame!

Anyhow, this could get long fast, but that’s okay, you made it this far. There are more points I promise, and I must say, I think they are juicy! Well, you can be the ultimate judge.

How does this tie in with hockey?

Well, as we investigated the friends to Glendale that seemed to have a stranglehold on Mr. Moyes, we came across the ever-interesting connections of these companies and countries.

Without beating it to death with a (climate change hockey) stick, the names that kept returning were MSD Capital, Onex, Mubadala, John Buck, Carlyle Group, DRS Technologies, and on and on. If you have read enough here, you have been bombarded with evidence that helped us tie these guys together.

And, the hints have been there without much bacon that there seems to be a move to monopolization of just about everything these days.

The government in the U.S. is just getting bigger. No conspiracy there – not if you watch Glenn Beck who at least gives us “half-truths”. That is, until he tries to break the Americans’ backs with the need to kill the unions and strip pension plans, but other than that the guy is just a peach. Just not the peach you want to bite into, cause it has a rotten core.

Anyhow, we have Stephen Harper, probably knowing full well that Climate Change is as bogus as that hokey hockey stick graph they tried to sell us, yet with him and Obama, it’s business as usual at the G20, and in Davos, Switzerland. According to Harper, we must put sovereignty second to the needs of the globe. Yeah, try telling that to the already suffering in most of the European Union. Go ask Greece, or Iceland how it’s working for them on the derivative bank scandles that are driving them into enslavement.

No, for one, I would prefer to keep our Canada sovereign. Thanks anyways.

That’s why Harper’s sit down fireside chat with Brian Williams seemed a little off – considering.

So the point I will make is this.

There is a global push for monopolization and control of everything – the media, sports, the people, the taxation of our breath – everything. And we are seeing subtle moves in business that if you aren’t paying attention may just pass you by.

That brings us to the sports ties.

We already suspect Abu Dhabi’s involvement with the Jobing.com bonds.

Now, the other friend that came to our site today was Onex Corporation.

Again, what up with Onex?, we asked. Another google search.

Low and behold we see that Onex is on the short list to  buy (please wait for the ad for Dell Computers to go away – seems to take forever!):

Sport Supply Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: RBI) (“Sport Supply Group”), the nation’s leading marketer, manufacturer and distributor of sporting goods and branded team uniforms to the institutional and team sports market, today announced that it has entered into a definitive merger agreement to be acquired by an affiliate of ONCAP Management Partners, L.P. (“ONCAP”), the mid-market private equity business of Onex Corporation (“Onex”).

Recap time.

Onex has had some interesting past players on their team. Daryl Jones (Research/Ice Edge), Eric Rosen (MSD Capital) to name a couple. And again, if you have been a long time reader you will note that Keith McCullough (Research/Ice Edge) was a hedge expert at Carlyle Group. Ah, doesn’t it all make you warm and fuzzy?

So, we have Abu Dhabi and the Crown Prince court treating their people like crap, taking over control of everything. Investing in America and likely sports, and sharing this distinction with what seems to be an ever-growing family of the rich and privileged.

Just one more thing.

It would appear as if by coincidence that Onex is also in the game to take over a media empire that had a past with current Onex boss Gerald Schwartz:

Gerald Schwartz (Onex)

Onex, Canada’s biggest publicly traded buyout firm, and Alberta Investment Management Corp. are partnering with National Post Chief Executive OfficerPaul Godfrey in the bid, the newspaper reported, citing people familiar with the bidding process. The newspaper didn’t name the people.

Now, that nasty “conspiracy side” would immediately jerk me to attention. Onex acquiring sports industry interests, and now going after media. And, second in size to only the Federal Government, eh?

Yes, if I were a conspiracy guy, I might be led to believe there could be another connection here. And, Onex recently was eying the U.S. for commercial real estate opportunities. Of course they were. Perhaps in the Phoenix area too?

The belief that distressed U.S. mortgage assets are priced at a discount, with significant potential upside, has led a number of large investment firms to create real estate investment trusts to buy assets.

Where have we heard about REITs before? Oh that’s right – Alan Leventhal the REIT expert and the owner of Beacon Sports brought in by Reinsdorf junior to “help” Glendale assess the potential of Jobing.com arena.

Excuse us if we see all the past employees of these firms working together still, in a friendly way to share the pot.

After all, the conspiracy theory  chutzpa says it’s all about monopolization, power, censorship, and giving the good deals to your chosen buddies.

As for the rest of us? Just pay tax on your every exhale and be lucky you are still allowed to live. And be grateful Canada isn’t as much of a police state as the U.S. already is. That is, until  Bill C-6 gets through.

Or until the North American Union comes back no doubt, and rears it’s ugly head. A ‘hypothetical region’ my eye!

So the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Onex visited our humble abode just five hours apart  (3 AM and 8 AM).

Of course they did!
