“Jesus Christ is coming, and he will bring his kingdom upon the earth”

Brother in Christ, Alan Lamont (hope I spelled your name right Alan), has a great insight into the biblical truths that will happen upon the earth.

We are in the period now called the “Beginning of Sorrows“. It prefaces the “early tribulation period” that will last 3 1/2 years, and the “great tribulation period” of another 3 1/2 years.

Alan points out that there will be the return of our saviour Jesus Christ once in this period, after the two tribulations. Christians will suffer but endure. The world is without end, and true believers in Christ will be joined on Jesus’ return, both the living and the dead, to be joined in the new Millennial Kingdom, a 1000 year period.

After this time, we will have a final battle, leading into the “eternal kingdom“.

For those that are trying to make sense of this all, please follow this video’s references closely. You will understand that, as Alan points out, the Bible is consistent. It had many authors over many years, and to co-ordinate or alter it’s meaning is highly unlikely. Some proponents who believe the Bible is simply propaganda and not the word of God will have a hard time arguing with the logic that the Old Testament references to the return of God is consistent with the New Testament, and the words of Jesus himself as he explains how he will return to earth.

In closing, I want to emphasize that if you are a Christian in this day, working for the Lord Jesus Christ, you will know that integrity is starting to rear it’s head. That there are signs that goodness is taking root where evil once lived.

The joy comes from knowing that the world will not end on December 21, 2012, or any time thereafter. It will change however, on schedule as the time of the return of Christ comes.

You may be a cog in the new, ethical world. Embrace the gift that God has given you, and wait in joyful hope, for the coming of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!
